A Guide to the Pigeon Forge Community Center

Built in 2000, the Pigeon Forge Community Center boasts 86,000 square feet of recreation space. The beautiful facility is well equipped, featuring space for aerobics, athletics, aquatics, bowling, meetings, and more. When you need a break from the bright lights and buzz of the busy Parkway in downtown Pigeon Forge, head just down the road to get some exercise or just play around for a while. Both residents and visitors can purchase annual memberships to the Pigeon Forge Community Center, and visitors to the area can also purchase daily guest passes for just $6! Guests to the center will find recreational opportunities for every age.

Aquatic center
Spend a day playing around at the pool or getting in some exercise during a water aerobics class. Classes are just $3 per person and are introductory level for adults and seniors. Classes are 10 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; 5:45 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. When it’s hot, head to the outdoor pool from Memorial Day until August 17. It’s just $3 for adults (ages 13 – 54) and $2.50 for children (ages 2- 12) and seniors (55+). The pools can even be rented for pool parties – $125 for up to 50 people (indoor pool) and $175 for up to 100 people (outdoor pool). Call 865.429.7373 for more information and to reserve the pools.

Bowling center
A feature you won’t find in a lot of community centers, the bowling center at the Pigeon Forge Community Center offers cosmic bowling and specials throughout the summer. Enjoy $1 Thursdays (per game, per person) from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., or come dressed as your favorite superhero or villain on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. to bowl for just $1.50 (per person, per game)! On Tuesdays from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., get one hour of bowling for just $5 per person (including rental shoes). Headed to Pigeon Forge for a birthday? Celebrate at the bowling center with special party packages starting at just $35.

LeConte Medical Center | Wellness Center
Located inside the Pigeon Forge Community Center, the LeConte Medical Center provides a family-friendly environment where guests can exercise. There are treadmills, elliptical trainers, weight machines, and free weights available, along with group and individual classes and personal training.

With so many fun things to do at such a low price, the Pigeon Forge Community Center is a great budget-friendly option for a day in downtown. For your convenience, they even offer childcare for kids one year old (walking) to nine years old. It’s just $5 per child for non-members (for two hours/day), so it’s a really cost-effective way for the adults to have a little time to themselves. And the kids won’t miss out on the fun. They’ll enjoy story time, crafts, bowling, tumbling and swim classes (call for more info), and outdoor activities.
