Tucked away in the trees of the Great Smoky Mountains, Brink of Heaven is a charming two-bedroom, two-bathroom log cabin conveniently located equidistant from both downtown Gatlinburg and downtown Pigeon Forge. It’s a short drive from popular area restaurants, shops, and attractions, but it also offers its own entertainment.

Check out Dollywood, Dixie Stampede, The Island, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or stick around the cabin to unwind in an outdoor hot tub, play pool, surf the Internet via the Wi-Fi, stay warm by the wood-burning fireplace, or fire up the charcoal grill and enjoy the wooded mountain views. With room for eight, including two king-size beds and two queen sleepers, it can accommodate a wide range of groups: two couples, families, and groups of friends. Large windows showcase mountain views, and modern amenities make it comfortable and convenient. The cabin features a fully equipped kitchen, cozy dining area, a game room, and more.

Living room
The living room in Brink of Heaven was made with comfort and intimate conversations in mind. Split into two separate living spaces, the cozy room offers a place to watch TV or curl up by the wood-burning fireplace. On one end, find two comfy sofas facing each other and a stone fireplace that offers that Smoky Mountain charm. It’s the perfect place to sit down for a quiet conversation or laugh about the day’s adventures. If you’re here for the holidays, it’s an inviting spot for opening presents and letting the kids play with their new toys. On the other end of the living room, find two more comfy sofas facing a TV. You can hang out here and watch shows or movies, flip on the lamp to read a book, or play a board game or card games on the coffee table here. With plenty of seating in these two great spaces, you’ll have enough room for the whole group to hang out together.

Kitchen
While you’ll have your pick of restaurants in downtown Pigeon Forge, with everything from Chinese and American to German and Italian, the kitchen of Brink of Heaven is equipped with everything you need to make homemade meals at the cabin. Whether you love to cook or just enjoy the convenience and money-saving aspect, the fully equipped kitchen will be a welcome amenity. The light wood cabinets blend perfectly with the walls, and the light countertops keep the space feeling bright and airy. In the kitchen, you’ll find a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, and all the utensils, dishes, and glassware you’ll need. There is ample counter space for meal prep and snacks, and there is even a breakfast buffet with seating for four. Guests can chat while others cook, or you can set out a buffet of snacks to enjoy while you watch a ball game.

Dining area
Tucked in a cozy corner, the dining area of Brink of Heaven invites guests to sit down for peaceful in-cabin meals. It has a round wood dining table with four chairs, along with a decorative hutch in the corner. A window by the table lets in some sunlight on nice days, making it a lovely place to have a meal. If you’re here for a couples’ getaway, set the table with candlelight and enjoy a romantic dinner before heading off to bed.

Rec room
Stay entertained without even leaving the cabin in the rec room of Brink of Heaven. You can play a few rounds on the pool table, watch TV, or just hang out and relax on lazy days in the cabin. The guys will love heading downstairs to watch a ball game or have a few drinks while playing pool. The room also boasts easy access to the deck through the glass doors that frame wooded views. When it’s too rainy or hot to play outside, this comfortable room is the ideal hangout spot. Then head outside to get some fresh mountain air and take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the Great Smoky Mountains!

Bedrooms
Find the rest you’ve been seeking in the two bedrooms at Brink of Heaven. Both bedrooms feature king-size beds, along with a dresser for unpacking on longer stays. Best of all, the bedrooms are located on opposite ends of the cabin, so guests will enjoy plenty of privacy. One bedroom is located in the loft, and the other is located downstairs off the rec room. The upstairs bedroom has a view of the mountains and a jetted tub where you can have a relaxing bath before climbing into bed. And with two bathrooms, getting ready for a night on the town will be a breeze. If you need more sleeping space, Brink of Heaven also has two queen sleeper sofas for additional guests.

Outdoor spaces
Look out over the Great Smoky Mountains as you unwind on the decks of Brink of Heaven. Two levels of decks ensure you have plenty of great spaces to enjoy the great outdoors. After a long day hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a soothing soak in the hot tub on the deck will be just the ticket. Or you can just start the morning with a cup of coffee while letting the fresh mountain air wash over you. If you love doing your own cooking, you can fire up the charcoal grill for steaks, burgers, and kabobs.

Other amenities
Brink of Heaven boasts lots of amenities to keep you comfortable. Bring along music to play on the CD player, watch your favorite movies on the DVD player, or see what events are happening during your stay via the Wi-Fi in the cabin. There is even a washer and dryer, which are convenient if you like to do laundry before heading home or just freshen up clothes after busy days.
