Pigeon Forge is great during non-holiday weeks!

Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge stay pretty busy during the Summer and all of the traditional American holidays so we tend to see an uptick in traffic, lines for rides, and business around town. However, during non-holidays in Pigeon Forge the crowds are not nearly as large, the lines aren’t as long, and you experience a more relaxed environment in general.

Now, I do understand that some people like the crowds. It makes them feel like they’re part of the excitement and magic that is this place. However, if you prefer to spend most of your vacation time outside of a car and would rather be relaxing than standing in lines then trying Pigeon Forge during the non-holiday times is a good idea. Wondering when you might want to come?

The following is a quick run-down of dates that Pigeon Forge does not typically see a large influx of visitors:
