Pigeon Forge has a lot of entertainment available, much of which requires some energy expenditure on your part. Rafting, hiking, laser tag, and even shopping are a lot of fun, but they often leave you zonked at the end of the night. Lucky for those of you who want to have some fun (and food) without working for it, Pigeon Forge offers a handful of dinner shows that will leave guests full and happy. Check out these local shows for a night that’s sure to please the whole family, and you won’t have to lift a finger.

Lumberjack Feud– At “the Smokies’ rowdiest good time dinner show,” World Champion ESPN lumberjack athletes will chop away as you chomp down on your BBQ ribs, mac ‘n cheese, baked beans and homemade strawberry dessert. The 10 million dollar attraction has been built to look like the Smoky Mountains’ landscape, cascading river included, so you certainly won’t find anything like it anywhere else. You can buy your tickets online at www.lumberjackfeud.com, or you can call 855-BIG-FEUD.

The Comedy Barn – If you’re looking for some fun and variety for everyone in your gang, the award winning Comedy Barn Theater is the place to go. Offering good, clean fun, this show features magicians, yard animals, fire eaters, live country and gospel music, jugglers and much more. Although this isn’t a dinner show, it’s definitely a must for families looking for a laugh. For more information, check out their website, or call 1-800-29-LAUGH.

Dixie Stampede – Dolly Parton once again impresses with her Dixie Stampede Dinner Attraction in Pigeon Forge. A friendly North and South competition is the theme here, with horse riding stunts, musical productions, special effects and a delicious four course dinner and dessert. You even get pre-show entertainment by a bluegrass group, Mountain Rukus, in the world famous Carriage Room. Children 3 and under are free if they share a seat and a meal with a parent, and the facilities are fully special-needs accessible. Visit Dixie Stampede’s website for a menu, schedule and pricing, or call 1-800-356-1676.

Murder Mystery – This “gem of a theater,” set off the buzzing Parkway, offers laughter, food and intriguing mystery. It offers 3 shows, a five course meal, and a show like no other. Comforting pot roast, mashed potatoes, and creamy vegetable soup are just a few things on the menu. Go to the Murder Mystery website for more information.

Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud and Stunt Show – The Hatfield and McCoy families notoriously don’t get along, and at this fun family show, both have been invited to the barn dance, so you’re in for a crazy time. You can even choose between the dinner show (with fried chicken, pork BBQ mashed potatoes) and The Country Jamboree Breakfast show (with pancakes, hash browns, scrambled eggs and biscuits). If you can’t decide, there’s a two-show special for $59.95. Check out the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud and Stunt Show website for all the information you need.
