Inside and out, this 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin with room for 10 is a great getaway for families and friends. Spend days playing games, catching up on some sleep, planning days downtown with the high-speed Wi-Fi, watching movies on the big screen TV, and having some quality time with the people you love.
You’ll be surrounded by the beauty and peace of the Smoky Mountain trees, and you can head into town to play. Ride roller coasters at Dollywood, go to a dinner show, drive go karts, play arcade games and mini golf, hike in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or spend the day shopping, eating, and playing at The Island in Pigeon Forge. Mockingbird Hill is also convenient to the Pigeon Forge Community Center, giving you easy access to indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a bowling alley – with affordable daily passes available.
A great place to unwind with family and friends – without leaving the cabin – is a must on a Smoky Mountain vacation. The living room of Mockingbird Hill is just that, with comfy couches, a big screen TV, a padded rocking chair, and an inviting fireplace. Reading lamps all around offer a little light for movie nights or for reading on a quiet afternoon. You’ll have a DVD player and Blu-ray player, or you can bring some games for the kids to play at the coffee table or on the rug. It boasts high ceilings that make the room feel open, but it’s still cozy and comfortable.
One big perk of a Pigeon Forge cabin is having a fully equipped kitchen where you can make your own meals, store leftovers from restaurants downtown, or have space to keep snacks and drinks for late-night cravings or game day. Cooking in the cabin is a great way to save money or just have some extra quality time together. At Mockingbird Hill, you’ll have a refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, built-in microwave, and countertop essentials like a coffeemaker, toaster, and blender. Bring your favorite recipes or check out our blog (especially during the holidays) for some easy in-cabin recipes.
The dining table for 6 in the kitchen of Mockingbird Hill is the place to gather for meals. Sit down for a family-style dinner or set the table with candles and flowers for a couples’ night. You can also use the table for a buffet of game-day snacks or clear the table and use it for family game night. And because the dining area opens to the living room, additional guests can eat in the living room without missing out on all the conversation.
Rec Room | Loft
When you’re ready to get up off the couch and have some fun in the cabin, head upstairs to the loft. Kids of all ages (and kids at heart) can spend hours playing air hockey and foosball. There is even a dart board here, so game tournaments are a must. Of course, there’s plenty to do nearby as well, from arcades to hands-on attractions. Whether you stay in the cabin or play downtown, you’ll have no shortage of fun on your Smoky Mountain vacation.
Each bedroom in Mockingbird Hill has a queen-size bed and its own TV, making every room a retreat for guests after busy days playing downtown. There is a full bathroom on each of the 3 levels, and the upstairs bedroom boasts a spa tub for soothing soaks after long days. On the lower level, find 2 bedrooms and a bonus area that’s perfect for kids. It has a twin-size loft bed and a futon that opens up to a full bed, along with a 40-inch smart TV. It’s a great space for extra guests or just for hanging out.
The amenities don’t stop when you head outside at Mockingbird Hill. Peaceful tree-lined views let you enjoy the Smokies up close, and 2 levels of decks give you plenty of space to relax. On the upper deck, put steaks and burgers on the gas grill and sit down for meals at the patio table in this screened-in area. At the end of the day, climb into the hot tub and soothe tired muscles with a nice soak. The lower deck has another table for snacks and games, or you can get a book and relax in the porch swing. There is even a swinging twin bed, which is perfect for afternoon naps or just relaxing on beautiful mountain days.
When you’re away, you still want the comforts of home. Mockingbird Hill gives you those, with high-speed Wi-Fi in the cabin, DVD and Blu-ray players, and a washer/dryer. It even boasts a flat, paved driveway that’s motorcycle friendly and easy for arrivals.
With a location just a few miles from downtown Pigeon Forge, Mockingbird Hill is the perfect home base if you want to explore the area and see what Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. Within just a few minutes, you’ll be in the heart of it all. And no matter why you’re here, you’ll find something to entertain everyone.
