Fireworks in The Area of Pigeon Forge! July 4th Celebration in the Smokies

July 4th Pigeon Forge activities are lots of fun for all ages. The celebrations for independence day in the Smokies are quite the experience, particularly in Pigeon Forge. July 4th weekend is a great chance for Americans to celebrate independence and Pigeon Forge has some great activities for those wanting to kick off the weekend right.

Come to Pigeon Forge for July 4th and you’ll understand that this town is very patriotic. On July 3rd the city of Pigeon Forge hosts the annual Patriot Festival in Patriot Park. The celebration will include appearances by entertainers to include Jimbo Whaley and Greenbrier and the Pigeon Forge community Chorus.

For kids, the Patriot Festival in Pigeon Forge will have a free kids Karnival Zone. The Karnival Zone will have inflatables and games for your children to enjoy. To top it off, non-profit vendors will provide a variety of foods for all to enjoy.

On the night of this fabulous Independence Day celebration on July 3rd  the city will put on a fireworks display that will be a perfect culmination for such an honorable celebration. Families should be prepared to have a blast at this yearly event.

The July 4th weekend kick-off in Pigeon Forge is a wonderful thing to do to get your family excited about Independence Day. Patriot Park can be found off of traffic light #7 on Old Mill Street in Pigeon Forge. If you still need more help getting there just keep in mind that it’s behind the old mild.

Once the July 3rd independence day kick-off celebration is done families can choose to go for round two. At 12am on July 4th Gatlinburg holds America’s first independence day celebration by starting their parade as soon as the clock strikes 12:01. This parade celebration can pull in up to 100,000 spectators.
