Living room
Soaring ceilings and lots of windows make for a bright, open space in the living room of LeConte Bear Lodge. The many windows are trimmed with dark wood stain, making them stand out from the honey-colored wood walls. An electric stacked stone fireplace in the corner of the room offers a cozy atmosphere for those cool nights in the Great Smoky Mountains. A big screen TV on the mantel is great when you want to watch a ball game or don’t want to miss your favorite shows at night. Just kick back, relax, and enjoy a cozy living room that will feel just like home…but better! The room is furnished with 2 dark leather sofas, along with 2 upholstered chairs and a large mountain-themed rug. Use the large wood coffee table for playing board games, or keep your snacks and drinks nearby while you visit and plan out the next day’s fun. If you just want to crack open that book you’ve been aching to read, flip on one of the lamps by the sofa or chairs and curl up for a laid-back afternoon.

Kitchen
Stainless steel appliances make this lovely kitchen elegant and convenient. You’ll have a full-size refrigerator, microwave, oven/stove, and dishwasher, along with small appliances and tools like a coffeemaker, toaster, knife set, and plenty of dishes and glasses. The beautiful wood cabinets are complemented by the granite countertops, and the kitchen island is perfect for prepping meals or having a place to set out a buffet of snacks. You’ll find all essentials here, along with space for several people to cook together. The kitchen also opens up nicely to the dining area, so you can chat with other guests as they sit down to eat. If you’re not up for cooking, you can always use the kitchen to store leftovers or keep your fudge from downtown nice and cool.

Dining area
Next to the kitchen is the gorgeous dining area, featuring a beautiful wood table with cushioned seats that have distressed-wood backs. It has chairs for 5, along with a bench that can seat a few more guests for meals. Above the table is an antler chandelier, making the space the perfect blend of rustic and elegant. And there are several large windows here, so you’ll get some light while you eat. In the mornings, the kids will love being able to watch cartoons while they sit down for breakfast in the dining area. Other guests can relax on the sofas and use the large coffee table for their plates without missing out on the conversation.
