Lumberjack Feud – Dinner Show in Pigeon Forge TN

Pigeon Forge is home to lots of family friendly shows and entertainment. One of the most popular excursions for visiting families is going to a dinner show. Made famous by the exciting Dixie Stampede Dinner Show and the hilarious Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show, these events combine the two things Pigeon Forge is best at – food and fun! The newest Pigeon Forge attraction will open on August 26th with great fanfare – The Smoky Mountain Lumberjack Feud.

Named the areas “Rowdiest Good Time Dinner Show,” this is not your typical Pigeon Forge comedy show. The hour and a half long show is filled with professional ESPN timber athletes competing in a variety of ten different logging events. The event isn’t all about fun and games either – the games the athletes compete in are actually derived from historic logging techniques used in the Smoky Mountains. Before the establishment of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the timber industry ruled the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area. After logging nearly 750 million feet of timber, the logging industry was eventually shut down, but the history of the great venture still remains.

As you enter the attraction, you will be assigned to one of two logging families that once competed for the timber in the Smoky Mountains. Then, you will watch the Dawson’s or McGraw’s compete in a variety of competitions to see who will become the winner! The show offers an opportunity to get in on the action as well – one member from each audience member family will be chosen to climb a 55 foot tree against another fan! You and your family will love the competitive spirit and will quickly be swept away by the action and fun.

Located right around the corner from Dollywood, this Dinner Show is easy access to many cabins and hotels in the area. Hosting at least one event daily, show times begin at 5:00PM and 8:15PM.
