Hotels are cramped and don’t have shared spaces where you can spend time together. But at Applewood Manor, the inviting living room is just the place to chat, watch TV, have a drink, or open presents during the holidays. Furnished with a huge sectional sofa and another stylish couch, this space can seat most (if not all) your group at once. Pile up on the sofas or let the kids gather on the area rug in the center of the room and just have fun being together.
On those sunny Smoky Mountain days, you’ll get lots of sunlight streaming in through the floor-to-ceiling windows that span an entire wall. Turn on the gas fireplace on cool Pigeon Forge evenings and curl up on the sofa, or flip on the big screen TV to watch your favorite shows or a movie. The cabin has a DVD player and VCR, so you can bring your newest movies or the old classics you love to watch.
Want some shows beyond the TV? Take the short drive to downtown and enjoy comedy, dinner, and entertainment at one of the many dinner shows like Dixie Stampede, The Comedy Barn, or Lumberjack Adventure – just to name a few.
It’s often said the kitchen is the heart of the home, and with the essentials for making homemade meals, Applewood Manor is just that. The honey-hued cabinets blend perfectly with the gorgeous wood walls, and the light countertops keep it feeling warm and welcoming.
When you want to do some cooking for your group, you’ll have stainless steel appliances – a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerators, and oven/stove – along with cooking tools, dishes and glassware, and counterspace for some prep work. And cooks won’t feel isolated here. The kitchen opens up to the dining area and living room, so those in the kitchen can still visit with everyone else milling around or hanging out. There is even a breakfast bar with seating for 3, which is perfect for a buffet of snacks when no one is sitting down for a meal here.
Even if you don’t love cooking, you can get some food to-go downtown or order catering to enjoy in the cabin. You’ll have plenty of Pigeon Forge restaurants to choose from. From Italian and German to Mexican and American, you’ll find something to satisfy every craving.
Perfectly situated for conversation, between the kitchen and living room, the dining area features a beautiful dark wood dining table beneath an elegant light. Create some of your favorite dishes in the kitchen and sit down for meals together in this cozy space. If you’re here with couples, set a candlelit dinner and reconnect over a romantic dinner.
Applewood Manor boasts 4,000 square feet of space, including 4 bedrooms with homey amenities and comfortable king-size beds. Between the bedrooms and the 2 queen sleeper sofas, you’ll have space to sleep up to 12 guests in the cabin.
In each bedroom, you’ll find unique features, including stone details around jetted tubs, flatscreen TVs, dressers and nightstands, and even a fireplace by one tub! There are even 5 bathrooms, so there’s no lack of space here.
Each bed is also outfitted with modern bedding, so you’ll have a beautiful and comfortable place to relax after fun days in downtown Pigeon Forge, in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or exploring the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community.
