Description

Set against the gorgeous backdrop of the Smoky Mountains, Moondance cabin is a great choice for families and small groups visiting the Smokies. This 3-bedroom, 3 1/2-bath cabin provides all you will need for a spectacular time while you are away.

From the plush comfort of your living room or the relaxing warmth of your outdoor hot tub, you can soak in the view along the backside of this cabin. You can also find plenty of entertainment for your party in the cabin’s rec room, furnished with comfy furniture, a big screen TV, Wi-Fi, and game tables. And the best news for all you pet lovers out there is that you can enjoy all this and more without having to leave your favorite furry friend behind! Moondance is a great choice for groups of up to 10 looking for a comfortable, private retreat in the Smokies!

Living Room
As you walk in the front doors of the Moondance cabin, you will be blown away by the large windows across the back of the cabin that reach all the way to the ceiling. These windows provide the moonlit view that gives the cabin its name, and you’ll get a one-of-a-kind view of the Smoky Mountains right from the comfort of your living room. The focal point of the living room, which is straight in front of you as soon as you open the cabin door, is the large gas fireplace inlaid with stone. This will be a favorite feature during the cold nights of Smoky Mountain winters or even the afternoons when springtime showers blow through. Around the fireplace you will find plenty of seating for your guests, including a large leather couch, an oversized plush chair, and a rocking chair against the back wall. From the couch, you’ll be able to soak in the beautiful views this cabin has to offer. You’ll also be able to reach the large coffee table in front of you, where you can play games or rest cups of coffee during quiet times of family fun and conversation. The living room will definitely be a favorite hang-out spot during your stay at Moondance.

Kitchen
The open-concept kitchen is easy to find as soon as you enter the cabin’s front door. All you have to do is turn left, and you’ll find a clean, traditional kitchen with all the major appliances you’ll need during your stay. A microwave, oven and stove top, and dishwasher are all available for your use during your stay. You’ll also have a coffeemaker, knives, basic cooking utensils, and dishware. All of this makes it possible for you to save a little money and cook in the cabin while you’re in the Smokies. (Use your money, instead, for an extra adventure in Pigeon Forge!) Some meal ideas for a party of 10 include an easy pancake breakfast in the morning, a cold-cut sandwich bar for lunch, and spaghetti or tacos for dinner. This is an easy way to feed your group without breaking the bank—and a great use of your cabin!

Dining Area
In front of the kitchen, you’ll find a large dining area. The black-and-tan wood table comes with four chairs and two benches, so you’ll definitely be able to fit your entire party at the table for every meal. And the table overlooks one of the best views in the cabin! A large window just behind the dining room points toward the blue crests of the Smoky Mountains. Above the dining room table is a light fixture made from antlers, adding to the warmth and natural-looking ambiance of the cabin. And the dining room is not your only option for enjoying meals together. A smaller table with four chairs is also available on the lower covered deck, where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the Smokies right outside your cabin door.

Bedrooms
Moodance has three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths to make your stay as comfortable as possible while you’re in the Smokies. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and its own bathroom. There is also a dresser where you can keep your things and a stained-glass feature on the wall. The best part of this bedroom, though, is its view. Two large windows overlook the Smokies—this will be the best part of waking up while you’re at Moodance! A second bedroom also has its own bathroom, a queen-size bed, and a dresser. Above the bed is a small cut-out with two windows, creating a cozy atmosphere for you to enjoy. Both of these bedrooms maintain the warm, wood interior that can be seen in the rest of the cabin, and they come with personal features like bedside lamps and ceiling fans that add convenience during your stay. A third bedroom, located in the loft, is the most versatile, with one full bed and a twin bunk. These guests can share the third full-size bathroom in the cabin as well as personal bedside lamps.

Rec Room
When it’s time to play, Moondance does it right with a spacious rec room for all the guests to enjoy. This room is located on the lower level of the cabin and provides a comfy seating area with two oversized chairs—one cloth and one leather. There is also a large suede couch and a coffee table in the middle. All of these seating options point toward a favorite feature in the rec room: the large, flatscreen TV. With satellite TV and a DVD player offered at Moondance, you can enjoy your favorite shows and movies on this flatscreen and still not miss out on the gorgeous views Moondance provides. Several windows line the back wall of the rec space for your enjoyment while you relax downstairs. These views are also great while you’re playing a game of pool or foosball in the rec room. Both are located right behind the couches and can be enjoyed by the whole family on rainy days or just days when you’re looking to relax and stay indoors.

Outdoor Spaces
When you are ready to venture out, Moondance has two levels of deck for your entertaining needs. The lower deck is covered and comes with a small dining space. The upper deck (also covered) is where you’ll find more seating, with two bench rocking chairs and two regular rocking chairs. You’ll be able to fit your whole group outside to enjoy the cool mountain nights, and if you get too cold, just jump in your outdoor hot tub located right next to the rocking chairs! This hot tub will provide one of the best views you’ve ever seen, and you’ll need this relaxing experience after long days of trekking around Dollywood or shopping in downtown Pigeon Forge.

Other Amenities
If all the features this cabin boasts weren’t enough, Moondance also comes with a washer and dryer and an ironing board. You’ll also have access to a charcoal grill for the nights you want to grill out with some hamburgers or hot dogs. What better Smoky Mountain memories can you make than enjoying much-needed family time in the beauty of the great outdoors?

Moondance can give you exclusive views of the Smoky Mountains because it’s set in the privacy of the mountains. But that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on all the fun of staying in Pigeon Forge. Some attractions that are within 15 miles of Moondance include:
