Description

When life gets busy and you want to reconnect and rejuvenate, slip away to Comforts Me, located in the Beside the Still Waters community. The charming 1-bedroom, studio-style cabin exudes Smoky Mountain charm, with wood interiors, a stream-side location, and a peaceful wooded setting. After busy days exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, playing at Dollywood, touring the Titanic Museum Attraction, and shopping at the Tanger Outlets, this cozy retreat will be a welcome place to call home.

With a location in Beside the Still Waters, Comforts Me has sister cabins in Along the Right Path, Goodness and Mercy, In Green Pastures, Lacking for Nothing, My Cup Overflows, and Restores My Soul. If you’re traveling with a group or several couples and need more space but want to stay near each other, renting these cabins is a great option. They also offer access to a community fire pit where you can gather at night and nearby hiking trails you can explore.

Comforts Me has the conveniences you enjoy at home with the extras you love on vacation. Wireless internet makes it easy to see what’s happening in downtown Pigeon Forge while you’re here or buy tickets to area attractions. The cabin also has a big screen TV and Blu-ray player, so bring your favorite movies for a fun (or romantic!) movie night. The cozy cabin also has a fully equipped kitchen, so you can make your own meals, have a place for takeout, or just store leftovers after eating downtown.

Of course, vacation is also about treating yourself, and Comforts Me gives you the spaces to do that. Make a cup of coffee and sip it as you sit in the rocking chairs on the deck overlooking the stream, climb into the hot tub for a soothing soak at night, sit down for a peaceful meal at your dining table on the deck or at the picnic table below, or head to the community fire pit to hang out and make s’mores.

When you’re ready to get out of the cabin, Comforts Me is less than 10 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge and downtown Gatlinburg. There are dozens of restaurants, shops, and attractions to visit, whether you want a romantic weekend, a fun family getaway, or an action-packed vacation.

Living Room
The living room of Comforts Me is a relaxing place to come home to after busy days exploring the area. Step inside to a cozy living room with a sofa, wingback chair, and leather seat. Gather here in front of the fireplace and kick up your feet as you flip on the big screen TV. You can watch late-night shows before heading to bed, watch a romantic movie, bring the kids’ favorite cartoons for Saturday morning, or have a fun family movie night. With the kitchen just steps away, you can easily grab some popcorn and movie-night snacks or a drink.

Kitchen
A fully equipped kitchen is a big convenience when you’re away from home. The inviting kitchen at Comforts Me features warm wood cabinets, white appliances, and a tile backsplash – along with the tools for you to make in-cabin meals. It’s equipped with a built-in microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, coffeemaker, toaster, and enough glassware, dishes, and utensils for all 4 guests. Bring your family’s favorite recipes, pick up some fresh produce at the Gatlinburg Farmers Market, or just take advantage of the full kitchen for storing leftovers and your favorite late-night snacks.

Bedroom
Comforts Me has a studio-style bedroom with a queen-size bed, built-in shelves, nightstands, and wall-mounted lights for reading. You’ll have a place to set glasses, phones, or books – or that cup of coffee when you want to crawl back in bed for a bit. The cabin’s open floorplan also means you can watch TV from bed, so you can watch movies while falling asleep or catch the news without getting out of bed.

After you’ve hiked in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, spent the day shopping and browsing along the Parkway, played at Dollywood (or Dollywood’s Splash Country in summer), driven go karts and played miniature golf, and visited many attractions in downtown Pigeon Forge, this lovely bedroom will be a nice retreat.

Outdoor Spaces
Time spent in the great outdoors is a must when you vacation to the Smoky Mountains, but you don’t have to be an outdoor enthusiast to do that. Comforts Me has some great outdoor spaces where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the mountains without leaving the cabin. Grab a cup of coffee and find your spot in the red rocking chairs overlooking the stream. Sit down at the 2-person table for a nice meal – with the sounds of the water as your backdrop. Take your plate below the deck for a meal at the picnic table. However you spend your outdoor time here, it will be peaceful and relaxing!

Comforts Me also offers some nice perks with its location in the Besides the Still Waters community. Bring the marshmallows and make s’mores at the community fire pit while you chat and spend quality time with family and friends. Or you can explore the nearby hiking trails!

Other Amenities
Year-round, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg stay busy with events – from parades, races, and holiday celebrations to arts and crafts shows, car shows, and fishing tournaments. Stay up-to-date with what’s happening via the wireless internet at Comforts Me or just keep up with emails while you’re away. And if you’re traveling with more than 2, the cabin has a queen-size sleeper sofa for some extra space!
