Miracle Theater- Pigeon Forge

Miracle Theater is the former Louis Mandrel Theater located in Pigeon Forge, TN.  This theater is different from most theaters in the world as it has a mission to spread to gospel and up lift and edify the Christian church. The Miracle Theater is a show that you will not want to miss while you are in Pigeon Forge. 

The production includes a large staff of dancers, singers, actors, lighting people, wardrobe, hair and makeup personal that are from Pigeon Forge, TN. This production is put on almost on a nightly bases and extremely popular with church groups and youth groups that come to Pigeon Forge for a group retreat. The Miracle Theater is good about working with large groups to give you discounts.  The show runs year round 6 nights a week (taking Sunday evening off for the Pigeon Forge employees), and there is a 2:30 and a 7:30 show. The Show is a reenactment of the life of Jesus Christ. It also includes events that happened leading up to the birth of Christ, like Lucifer’s fall from grace and Adam and Eve’s first sin. After Christ’s birth there is an emphasis on the miracles that Christ performs while on earth, showing God’s almighty power through helping and saving others.  The play continues on to show his crucifixion and his death. But then the most important part of the story is that He is raised from the dead!!! The play continues on until His ascension into Heaven. 

The book and lyrics are by Linda Nell Cooper and the music is by David M. Legg.
