Bike Trails in Pigeon Forge, TN
Not only do people visit

out the Smoky Mountains. Pigeon Forge, TN offers several bike
trails that will give you a good workout going up and down
hills, as well as offering the wonderful scenic views. There are
many trails you could choose to ride on, each at having

called Cades Cove Loop Road, Townsend Bicycle Trail, Foothills

are no bike trails in the National Park. There are some roads
within the National Park that one could bike ride on but due to
heavy car traffic and the road conditions only experienced
bikers would want to ride them. Most of those roads are not
suitable for biking. Not to mention the danger that is involved
with the many visitors coming through the area.
Cades Cove Loop Road is an
11 mile one way road that is popular with people who have an
interest in long road biking. Bikers can enjoy the workout as
well as enjoy the beautiful scenery along that road. The Cades
Cove store rents out bicycles in the summer and fall months. So
no worries if you don’t want to lug your bicycle up to Pigeon
Forge, TN. Then the Townsend Bicycle Trail in Pigeon Forge is 9
miles long with 3 underpasses. It is paved and has hills so it
is challenging for cyclists and easy due to the asphalt. This
trail runs alongside Hwy 321 and the Visitor Center is along the
trail if you want to stop there for a break or even start at
that point. This trail also gives you a beautiful scenic view of
the mountains and a river. This trail has Pigeon Forge
restaurants, shops, and many lodging places along it too. This
will give you both the feel of the mountains and the commercial

Please be advised that all
cyclists must obey traffic regulations as set out by the State
of Tennessee. Signs are posted along most of the Pigeon Forge
trails for the cyclists use. Any cyclist 16 years of age and
younger MUST wear helmets. It is not necessary but highly
advised that everyone 17 and older wear helmets. Please be sure
your cycle is in tip top condition for these trails so that you
won’t be hurt. You may also be able to bike around where your
