The large, updated kitchen in Kangaroo Retreat—complete with wood cabinets, black and stainless steel appliances, and recessed lighting—is sure to be everything you need and more during your Smoky Mountain stay. You’ll have access to all the major appliances, including an electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. You can plan for easy group meals in the cabin, stock the fridge with all the essentials for a perfect picnic lunch in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or have a place to store your leftovers after a night on the town. On the bottom level, you’ll find another bedroom with a king-size bed. The largest bedroom of Kangaroo Retreat—complete with a king-size bed, an oversized plush chair, a nightstand with reading lamp, a private window, a fireplace, and an indoor jetted tub—can be found on the upper level. You might have to fight about who gets to stay in this room! The final two bedrooms are on the lower level, where you’ll find two sets of queen bunks—great options for any kids who are traveling with your group to Pigeon Forge. Accompanying the five bedrooms in Kangaroo Retreat are five full-size bathrooms.
On the lower level of this cabin, where you’ll find the two bedrooms with queen-size bunks, you’ll also find a separate media room where a smaller group of guests can enjoy their favorite shows or watch movies.
