For instance there is a Fairest of the Fair beauty contest for ages 2 – 21. This contest will showcase some of the most beautiful young ladies in that Pigeon Forge has to offer.
This year the theme is taking Pigeon Forge back to the 50’s. The padgent will begin on September 1st and September 2nd at 7:00 p.m. There will be plenty of musical entertainment for you to enjoy as well. The Hoppers will be performing on Wednesday night September 3rd at 7:30 p.m. If your looking for a good time praising the Lord, this gospel group will lift your spirits up. We all go through hard times in life so you will not want to miss out on a night full of praise to the God almighty who has helped you through those hard times.
On Friday night September the 5th at 8:00 p.m. country legend – Roy Clark will be performing. Roy was one of the first artist to have hits on both the pop and country billboards. Something that will catch the kids attention is the world famous guitar hero video game. The Sevier County Fair will be holding a face off for all of the guitar hero rockers. There are two age groups; ages 15 and under and ages 16 and up. This will great for all of those boys and girls who love pretending they are a rock star and have spent hours on the game to show off their talent.
There will be plenty of delicious fair pastries everywhere you turn, including homemade jams, lemonade, and pies. And if you have a little competitive side you maybe interested in some of the contest going on. They will be holding different contest including watermelon seed spiting and ice cream eating.
