Description

A Morning Song is a classic mountain cabin with a charming country feel, modern amenities, relaxing spaces, beautiful wooded surroundings, and lots of conveniences for a great stay with family and friends. The cozy 1-bedroom + loft, 3-bathroom cabin with space to sleep up to 8 guests is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown when you want to get away from it all.

In the morning, brew a pot of coffee and head out to the wraparound deck for tree-studded views and some fresh air. Days at this cozy cabin are spent reading in the loft (with peaceful tree-lined views), playing board games on rainy days, having family movie nights with the in-cabin selection or your own DVDs and Blu-rays, playing PlayStation 2 and pool with the kids, and stretching your legs on the nearby walking trails. At night, you’ll enjoy soothing soaks in the hot tub on the deck, sit down for meals at the dining table by the full kitchen, fire up the grill for a picnic at the table outside, and cozy up in front of the fireplace on cool mountain nights.

When you want to get out of the cabin for a bit, drive to Pigeon Forge or neighboring Gatlinburg for some fun. Both towns boast plenty to do, from shopping and dining to events and attractions. Play mini golf and arcade games, drive go karts, pose with celebrities at the Hollywood Wax Museum, tour the Titanic Museum Attraction, ride the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel and play The Escape Game at The Island in Pigeon Forge, go to a fun dinner show, ride roller coasters at Dollywood, tour a winery or distillery, and so much more. Then can retreat to A Morning Song for a peaceful night among the trees.

Living Room
When you want to curl up with a book, watch a ball game, or just sit down with family and friends to chat, the living room of A Morning Song is a great space. The inviting living room features a sofa and loveseat in front of a gas fireplace and big screen TV. Sunlight will stream in through the windows on sunny days, and wooded surroundings change for unique views throughout the year. Spring and summer fill the windows with lush green trees, fall brings gorgeous colors in the leaves, and winter offers mountain views as the leaves fall. The cabin even has board games, so you can plan a family game night while you relax.

Kitchen
Whether you love making homemade meals, want a place to keep your fudge from melting, need to have snacks and drinks easily accessible for days around the cabin, or want a place to keep leftovers after meals downtown, the fully equipped kitchen in A Morning Song will be a nice convenience. This lovely space is bright and cheery, offering a refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, built-in microwave, coffeemaker, blender, and enough dishes, utensils, and glassware for in-cabin meals.

Stop by The Old Mill or The Apple Barn for pancake and biscuit mixes or bakery treats for breakfast, or go by the Gatlinburg Farmers Market (in season) for fresh produce for your homemade meals. You can even check our blog throughout the year (especially during holidays) for easy recipes to try in the cabin.

Dining Room
The dining room of A Morning Song features a table for 6, just off the kitchen. You can set up a spread of holiday favorites or snacks on the breakfast bar and easily grab seconds without missing out on the conversation. Have a big country breakfast, a laid-back lunch, a catered BBQ dinner, or a family-style meal with family and friends. However you use it, the dining room is a great place to have peaceful meals in the comfort of your own cabin.

Game Room
A Morning Song is great for guests who love to hang out at the cabin. While there is plenty to do in downtown Pigeon Forge, sometimes you just want to stay in. In the game room, have a pool tournament or make yourself comfortable on the futon in front of the big screen TV. On game day, cheer on your favorite team while you hang out.

Loft
The loft in A Morning Song serves dual purpose, as a second sleeping space and another living area. On one side, a queen-size bed gives you more space for guests. On the other side of the loft, a futon in front of a big screen TV gives you another living room. Sit down with a book in the chair, sneak in an afternoon nap on the futon, or just watch a show while you enjoy the beautiful wooded views through the windows here.

Bedroom
The bedroom in A Morning Song is a nice retreat after a long day. Climb into the king-size bed to get some rest, or flip on the lamps by the bed to do some late-night reading. It also features conveniences like a dresser for unpacking and a ceiling fan for warm summer nights. For extra sleeping space, take advantage of the queen-size bed in the loft or the futons in the loft and game room.

Outdoor Spaces
No trip to the Smoky Mountains is complete without a little time in the great outdoors. A Morning Song offers some great outdoor spaces with a deck, wraparound porch, and small picnic area. On the decks, enjoy a cup of coffee as you sit and relax, sit for a while in the porch swing, or climb into the hot tub to soothe tired muscles. In your own picnic area, throw some burgers or kabobs on the charcoal grill before sitting down to an outdoor meal at the picnic table. When it’s cool outside, roast some marshmallows over the coals or have a cup of hot chocolate while you watch the stars from the deck.

Other Amenities
Along with the great spaces in A Morning Song, you’ll also have some nice amenities for entertainment and convenience. Play games on the PlayStation 2, bring your own movies or check out the movie selection in the cabin for the DVD and Blu-ray players, break out the board games for a night in the cabin, and take advantage of the washer/dryer in the cabin.
