One of my favorite attractions in the Great Smoky Mountains, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is home to thousands of awesome underwater creatures. Explore the Tropical Rainforest, Ocean Realm, Shark Lagoon, Coral Reef, Discovery Center, Gallery of the Seas, Stingray Bay, and Penguin Playhouse for hours of fun. Or you can have some extra-special experiences like playing (or painting) with penguins, splashing with the rays, or sleeping beneath the sharks!
And this summer, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies has another exciting addition: a new 4-story playground guaranteed to keep the kids happy for hours! With slides, giant balls, bridges, obstacles, and a fun underwater theme, this massive playground is just another fun addition to this always popular family attraction.
Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini-Golf
One of the best ways to spend a summer day in the Smokies is a fun game of miniature golf. At Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini-Golf, you’ll find 36 holes across the 2 courses that feature unique themes. You can play a friendly game of putt putt, challenge friends and family, and even win free games with holes in one! Enjoy some great summer weather while you play around here.
Or you can head over to Sevierville (1639 Parkway) to play at Ripley’s Old MacDonald’s Farm Mini-Golf, themed with barnyard animals, water features, and lots of interactive elements the kids will love!
Ripley’s Moving Theater 5D
This summer, there are 2 new movies at Ripley’s Moving Theater 5D. Strap in for an exciting ride in Monkey Madness, or fly through Antarctica in Happy Feet – Mumble’s Wild Ride. Kids will love these animated rides that make you feel like you’re in the middle of it all.
Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Odditorium
A 12-foot-tall transformer, shrunken heads, a vampire killing kit, and some crazy art pieces are just a few of the freaky and unbelievable things you’ll find this summer in the 16 themed galleries at Ripley’s Odditorium. Over 3 floors, the 12,500-square-foot attraction is crazy from start to finish.
Ripley’s Guinness World of Records Museum
There are 100s of exhibits at this cool family attraction on the Parkway in Gatlinburg. From sports and space to animals and food, they have a record for everything. They even have new exhibits where you can set your own records and see how you stack up against world record holders!
Ripley’s Amazing Mirror Maze
This attraction is 2 treats in one. First, wind your way through a maze of mirrors as you take a break from the summer heat. When you’ve found your way out, you can satisfy a sweet tooth at Ripley’s Candy Factory at the end.
Ripley’s Haunted Adventure
You don’t have to wait for Halloween to get the scare of your life. Ripley’s Haunted Adventure, in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, is open 365 days a year. It’s over 10,000 square feet of dark corners, live actors in Hollywood-grade makeup and costumes, and spooks around every bend. Just remember – guests must be at least 6 years old to come in.
