The city of Pigeon Forge is hosting it’s first family challenge reality show and is offering $10,000 to the winning family. Just imagine what you could do with $10,000! You could start your child’s college fund, you could put a hefty down payment on a new car, or you could take a nice vacation. Well, the Pigeon Forge family challenge is your perfect opportunity.
Five families will be chosen for the family challenge and although Pigeon Forge has yet to announce the details of the challenges the families will face, we can imagine they’ll be lots of fun. The first challenge for families that want to participate in the Pigeon Forge reality giveaway is to make a 60 second video nominating themselves for the reality show. We can imagine that there will be lots of creative entries. The five winning families chosen to compete for the $10,000 prize will be chosen by vote on the website. Once fully taped the reality show will be posted as a mini-series on MyPigeonForge.com.
Pigeon Forge has listed Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, and go-karting as just a few of the stops that will be included in the family challenge.
The family bond is a theme central to the Pigeon Forge challenge campaign. The city wishes to promote family vacations as a way to bring loved ones closer together. Although they can’t win the $10,000 prize families that aren’t in the challenge can still enter to win one of three vacations to Pigeon Forge which include tickets to local attractions. Pigeon Forge was recently named a top vacation destination for families by Trip Advisor, and it’s no wonder they chose our beautiful city. Pigeon Forge has an excellent view of the Smoky Mountains and of course many of the Pigeon Forge cabins are located high in the mountains. Not only is the view phenomenal, Pigeon Forge is located within minutes of the Smoky Mountains National Park which is the most visited national park in the United States. Pigeon Forge is also within driving minutes of Ripley’s Aquarium of the smokies which is the most visited aquarium in the United States.
