One of the best-loved attractions in Pigeon Forge is the Titanic Museum. Located on the main Parkway, the Titanic Museum is a two-story replica of the RMS Titanic, allowing you the chance to journey back to the year 1912, when the colossal ship made its way across the Atlantic. At the museum, you’ll get to touch a real iceberg and explore the hallways and cabins of the RMS Titanic. You’ll also get an exclusive view of more than 400 personal artifacts that have been salvaged from Titanic passengers—a collection worth more than $4.5 million!

Book Signing Fair

The Titanic Museum opened its doors in 2010 and now, for the third year in a row, will host its annual Book Signing Fair from March 30 through April 12, 2015 in Pigeon Forge. This special week at the museum celebrates the hundreds of books that have been written about the RMS Titanic. Visitors to the museum will get the chance to meet and greet with many of the authors of these fascinating books as well as have their books signed this spring.

The authors who will be present this year for the Book Signing Days include the following:

  • Lowell Lytle, author of Diving into the Deep
  • Cheryl Mure and Cassandra Jones, authors of Ahoy Titanic
  • Luke Copas, author of Facts for kids about Titanic, Facts for kids about the Titanic Children, and Facts about the Heroes of Faith of Titanic
  • Penelope Carlevato, author of Tea on the Titanic and First Class Etiquette
  • Mike Shoulders, author of T is for Titanic

The Book Signing Fair is a unique opportunity for Titanic fans and followers to interact with the authors who have researched and written about this well-known ship. Not only that, but authors like Lowell Lytle have even traveled below the water to see the sunken Titanic in person! Don’t miss your chance to shake hands with these impressive people and take home your autographed copies of their riveting books!
