The beautiful views aren’t the only reason why people choose to get married in Pigeon Forge. It’s also fairly easy to get married here. Couples can obtain a marriage license on any day except Sunday. If they get the license in the morning they can get married in the afternoon. This makes it easy for many people who are eloping or renewing their vows that just want a quick planning process.

Couples also enjoy the easy access to a honeymoon. When you get married at a wedding chapel in Pigeon Forge, you can stay at a cabin right up the mountain and enjoy the rest of the week in a Smoky Mountains paradise. Seclusion when you need it, and lots to do when you want it, make the perfect combination for a great honeymoon destination.

Couples don’t have to have a blood test to get married ( as required in some states.) They must be at least 18 years old though. A marriage license for a Tennessee resident is $98.50 ($60 can be waived with marriage counseling), and for out-of-state visitors the cost is $38.50.
