Description

Just a few miles from downtown Pigeon Forge – in the Black Bear Ridge Resort – Jennie’s View is convenient to the area’s most popular attractions, dozens of restaurants, art galleries, hiking trails, outlet shops, and boutique stores.

A short drive will place you in the middle of it all, allowing you to experience what the Smoky Mountains is all about. At the cabin, you’ll have more entertainment, comfortable spaces where you can relax with family and friends, and conveniences like a washer/dryer and wireless internet that will make the cabin feel more like home.

Jennie’s View has 8 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, and room to sleep up to 22 guests, so it’s great for a big family vacation, a reunion or retreat, or a weekend with a big group of friends. A classic log exterior will greet you, with a peek of the awesome mountain views that await when you step through the doors. Inside, you can curl up on the large sectional sofa, watch ball games on the big screen TV, sit down for family-style meals at the dining table (made in your fully equipped kitchen), relax in the media room, or play pool, foosball, and arcade games in the rec room. Or you can head to the community pool in the Black Bear Ridge Resort for family fun!

King-size beds, queen-size beds and bunk beds are a great mix for groups with adults and kids, and several shared living spaces offer great places for everyone to hang out on days around the cabin. You’ll have plenty of room with 4,000 square feet of space, and 2 sleeper sofas add some extra sleeping space. Even parking is convenient here, with space for 5 cars and overflow parking across the street.

Living Room
An open floorplan in Jennie’s View makes it easy to hang out with family and friends while cooking, eating, or just relaxing in the living room. The living room has a large leather sectional sofa and a cozy recliner, along with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame those awesome mountain views. Grab a drink or a deck of cards and unwind here in front of the electric fireplace and big screen TV. Year-round, it’s a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the views: snow-covered trees in winter, lush greenery in spring and summer, and rich hues of orange and red in fall. Bring board games for the kids or whip up some snacks in the kitchen and kick back your feet for an afternoon of ball games on TV.

Kitchen
One perk of having your own cabin for a Smoky Mountain vacation is having a fully equipped kitchen where you can store leftovers, cook your own meals, or have space for getting takeout or catering. Jennie’s View’s kitchen opens to the living room and features an eat-in dining area. It features black appliances – a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, and built-in microwave, along with countertop tools like a blender, toaster, coffeemaker, and knife set.

It’s also equipped with enough dishes, glassware, and utensils for the group, along with pots and pans for cooking in the cabin. Whether it’s simple snacks, delivery pizza, or a holiday meal with family, you’ll have the tools and space to make it happen.

Dining Area
Jennie’s View features a dining area next to the kitchen, making in-cabin meals easy. The dark wood table has 6 chairs and a bench, with seating for 8. If you’re making a meal for the whole group, you can take advantage of the two 2-person tables in the living room while others crash on the couch, take their plates to the media room, or eat on the deck. If you have a smaller group, it’s a nice space for an intimate meal in the cabin.

If you don’t want to do your own cooking, grab something to go downtown, or get a meal catered (like Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que) to make it even easier. When you want to go out to eat, you’ll have plenty of options, from Mexican and Italian to German and Chinese. There are enough choices to ensure you find something for everyone in your group, even if it’s just some sweet treats!

Rec Room
When you’re ready for some games in the cabin, head upstairs to the loft. The rec room has lots of light from the large windows, offers tree-studded views, and has games for hours of fun. You can play pool, hang out on the couch, play foosball, or test your skills on the arcade console. There’s a high-top table where you can sit down with a drink, or you can just lounge on the couch and watch others play. When you want a relaxed day in the mountains, this is a great place to hang out.

Media Room
When you travel with a group, you need a lot of places to relax when you’re in the cabin. The media room is perfect for movie nights, morning cartoons for the kids, or ball games. It has a plush sofa with two matching chairs, a wingback chair, a big screen TV, and a coffee table for snacks, drinks, or card games. Move the table and let little ones crawl around on the rug here while you relax or play the Big Buck arcade game. To keep it feeling cozy, turn on the electric fireplace. The media room also has easy access to the deck, where you can step outside to get some fresh air.

Bedrooms
Jennie’s View has room to sleep 22, with 8 cozy bedrooms and 2 sleeper sofas. There are 4 king-size beds and 3 queen-size beds in 7 of the bedrooms, while the other has 2 twin bunk beds that are perfect for kids. Every guest will have a comfortable retreat after busy days exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, playing at area attractions, or doing some shopping.

Four of the bedrooms even have their own fireplaces and jetted tubs, making them special retreats within this charming cabin. Enjoy conveniences like nightstands, dressers, and bedside lamps for a stay that feels like home.

Outdoor Spaces
One of the main reasons for visiting the Smoky Mountains is to spend time in the great outdoors. From fresh mountain air to stunning scenery, the atmosphere is a retreat for the senses. When you stay at Jennie’s View, you don’t even have to leave the cabin to enjoy the natural surroundings. Step out onto your deck to relax in the porch swing, soak in the hot tub, or sip on a drink in the rocking chairs. Soak up mountain and valley views as you enjoy the peacefulness of the Great Smoky Mountains.
