Stay cozy by the fireplace on cool mountain nights, let the kids play around on the rug in the middle, and set out snacks on the coffee table while you unwind. Whether you’re making quick snacks, preparing holiday feasts, whipping up picnic lunches, or just reheating leftovers from restaurants downtown, the fully equipped kitchen in The Lonesome Pine Chalet has plenty of tools to take care of in-cabin meals. The open kitchen has an island, oven with stovetop, microwave, double-door refrigerator, dishwasher, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, and plenty of dishes, utensils, and space to cook. You can keep that fresh fudge nice and cool, spread out pizza you ordered, or keep a buffet of snacks always on hand.
The kitchen also has a large log dining table, with a mix of chairs and benches. You can seat 10 or 11 here, and other guests can spill over to the living room if you have a full house. When it’s not mealtime, the large table is great for playing board games, busting out a deck of cards, decorating holiday cookies, getting some work done, or letting the kids do some crafts or puzzles.
