With awards including “Best Show in the Smokies,” “Best Live Country Show in America,” and “2001-2015 Show of the Year” under their belt, the Country Tonite Theatre in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, is a must-see when visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. It started in Las Vegas in 1992, later expanding to Branson, Missouri, and then to Pigeon Forge in the Smokies. Since its start, it’s been a fun place for families, groups, and couples to spend a few hours. The exciting show boasts singing, dancing, comedy, and gospel music, focused on the country roots of the South. Patriotism abounds, and a passion for performance shows in the talented singers and dancers on stage.

Country Tonite offers family-friendly fun, even for the younger kids. Country Tonite is the only Pigeon Forge show with youth performers – kids will love seeing other kids performing up on stage! Blending comedy, singing, and dancing with gospel, country, and patriotic music, this exciting and hilarious show in Pigeon Forge appeals to everyone. The Shows

American Oldies Show
Featuring the best music and favorites from the 50s, 60, 70s, and 80s, the American Oldies Show is sure to appeal to a wide range of ages. You’ll be tapping your toes to this upbeat show! You’ll hear classics such as Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head, Green Grass of Home, Rock Around The Clock, and Johnny B Goode while enjoying clean, family-friendly comedy. You may even be asked to participate on stage! Don’t like surprises? Not to worry – they always ask for audience participation before the show, never dragging anyone up on stage in the middle of it all. Adults will feel nostalgic and kids will love the fun, fast-paced atmosphere. You can choose either an afternoon or evening show, with 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. showtimes. Grab some lunch before heading over the theatre or eat dinner first and grab dessert after an 8 p.m. showing. With several showtime offerings, it will be easy to plan a stop during a busy day in Pigeon Forge.

Patty Waszak
An accomplished musician with tons of personality and energy, Patty gives audiences a show to remember. She plays more than 30 musical instruments, along with a huge variety of music – polka, 50s and 60s rock ‘n’ roll, country, 70s disco, big-band classics, show tunes, patriotic, 80s and 90s hits, ethnic, and today’s hits! She blends sing-a-long, audience participation, and music trivia styles to create a fun and lighthearted show! And with a 10 a.m. showtime, it’s the perfect way to start your day in the Great Smoky Mountains! Fill up with a hearty country breakfast at one of the great restaurants in Pigeon Forge, and then head over to Country Tonite for a fantastic morning show full of music and fun.

Christmas Show
Along with the regular shows throughout the year, Country Tonite features a heartwarming Christmas show with your favorite characters of the holidays. The stage will come alive with gorgeous holiday sets, toy soldiers, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus, a ballerina from the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, and more! With dazzling costumes and colorful onstage details, the show will put kids and adults of all ages into the holiday spirit.

Celebrity Concert Series
Each year, County Tonite brings in new and exciting celebrity performers. The performers include legendary musicians, from Chubby Checker (The Twist, Let’s Twist Again, Limbo Rock, Pony Time, and The Hucklebuck) and Ray Stevens (The Streak, The Mississippi Squirrel Revival, Shriner’s Convention, and It’s Me Again Margaret) to Don Williams, Ronnie Milsap, and more!

If you’re traveling as a group, Country Tonite offers group tickets and packages. They can accommodate any size and type of group, including corporate, youth, church, military, family, and school. They have special student group rates and can even serve as a meeting and convention space with concessions available!
