Over the Top

Overall we had a great stay. View from the patio is great. Got to see 4 cubs and momma bear just down the road. The swing was nice but wish they would trim the weeds/grass in front of it so you could still see the mtns. Location seemed to be pretty good for everything we wanted to do. close enough to town for a quick drive to do things or get food but once back at the cabin couldn't tell town was just 10 minutes away.

Beautiful view, wonderful hot tub and kitchen, as advertised. A little bit of a drive up but the privacy and view of the valley below are worth it.

Our stay in the Great Smoky Mountains was made by coming back to this beautiful home each night. The view is breathtaking, and the living environment is comfortable and well-furnished. The hot tub was a major plus with the night view off the balcony! The road was not hard to find or navigate, which I was very thankful for. Overall, an incredible stay that I would highly recommend.

Very beautiful cabin! Drive up was steep and would recommend coming in during the day not at night as it can be very intimidating. Overall great experience.

This cabin was the perfect size for our family of 3 and of two fur-babies. The view was stunning and the hot tub was relaxing.

The view is unmached. It is was exactly what it says and shows. We loved it! The drive up was scary the first 2 times but we got use to it.

The cabin was relaxing with an outstanding view. The hot tub was nice, but there were some restrictions on water usage. The bathtub was large, but it didn’t seal properly and there was not enough hot water to fill it. The water kept draining when I was trying to fill it up. Overall, my husband and I had a great weekend at Over the Top. We would stay here again.

The cabin was stunning. Absolutely do not recommend trying to find it at night. Lol. Very steep with switch backs that will take your breath. Definitely worth the drive but if you are not familiar with the area try to be there before night fall. Views are beautiful and we will be staying again.

This Cabin was wonderful. The hike up the mountain was SCARY but worth the view once we got to the top! Extremely clean house, great mountain-feel decor. The cabin is within 15 minutes of plenty of restaurants and things to do! We went to Dollywood and a few dinner shows during our stay. We did not get to see any bears but my husband did unfortunately step in fresh bear poo walking out to the truck the morning of our departure. We loved reading the book on the coffee table or previous guests’ experiences and recommendations. Lovely cabin! We would stay again!

This cabin is a great place to go if you want to see a great view of the mountains. This was a pet friendly place and we had a great time with our pups. Feels very private and will return when back in town.

Cute cozy cabin at the top of the mountain, expect a mountain drive up and down! The hot tub was clean and in good working order, I’ve been to a lot of Airbnb’s where the hot tub has issues. We spent a week here with our two dogs and the view is worth the price! Everything felt very clean and although you have privacy and feel secluded you’re still close to downtown.

Property is exact as pictured on web-site. Beautiful Mountain View. The house is nicely decorated. I found the house very clean and adequately stocked with kitchen supplies for cooking. There were only 2 wash cloths in the entire house, however the web-site does say bring additional towels, if preferred. My husband and I were fine with the towels and wash cloths provided. We did bring laundry detergent to wash any towels if needed. The road leading up to the cabin is steep, winding and narrow. That did not bother us, as we are use to traveling these type roads in the mountains. Once you are at the house, the effort to get up the mountain is so worth it!!! It’s truly a stunning view and comfortable house.

Let me just begin by telling you guys the hot tub+ stunning view combo of this place was absolutely insane. The cabin’s view was amazing! The hot tub was clean and well maintained. We loved the christmas decorations! Clean linens and blankets for extra warmth if needed. We were only 20mins away from downtown Gatlinburg so it was a nice short drive to get to places! A lot of breakfast place. The cabin was fairly easy to find. We will definitely recommend to others!

We booked this as a long weekend getaway (Thanksgiving weekend) for us and our two pups, and it was perfect. The cabin sits on top of a mountain, this cabin is almost a mile straight up a road, so be mindful of that (especially when booking in certain seasons). There is a hot tub, which is in an enclosed porch, the cabin sits on top of the mountain, there are about 4 other cabins around, but honestly you don't notice them or hear anything. This was a perfect escape for us, and the perfect R&R for our pups after a busy Thanksgiving holiday. We will be back!

Great little pet friendly cabin, with a gorgeous view and privacy. Close to the parkway, but you feel miles away.

Located just minutes from Pigeon Forge, this cabin has a view to die for! It is nicely decorated with all modern conveniences. The porch and hot tub were especially nice. We went with one other couple and each had our own bedroom and bath. Our little Yorkie felt right at home. Beware: there is a bear that likes the smell of steaks cooking on the grill! What a treat!

The views of the back of this cabin were breathtaking. The screened in back porch is the perfect spot with uninterrupted views of the mountains.

Over The Top didn’t disappoint. The listing is accurate. I liked how much privacy we had, there are neighbors but you really cannot see or hear any of them. Traffic was light, so it’s not noisy when you’re on the deck enjoying the hot tub. I cannot stress enough about the amazing view from that enclosed deck though. I can only imagine how pretty the fall would be there. The house is very cozy and I felt like I was at home. The bed we used was upstairs and it was comfortable. I did bring my own pillow but there are plenty. There was also plenty of extra blankets for cold natured people too. I brought a fan but there are fans in each bedroom! We had plenty of towels for the bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need if you love cooking and I think there’s a grill but we went out for meals and brought back snacks. I like trying restaurants we don’t have when I’m on vacation. The furniture to relax on and watch tv, both downstairs and upstairs is comfortable. The WiFi worked great and I had no issues with cell service either. There was never an issue with running out of hot water while showering and I did not find any weird smells with the water as I feel someone mentioned that in a previous review. We did not use the fireplace or the washer and dryer but that is definitely a plus. The house is pet friendly with no extra charge which was awesome and rare. That was appreciated. We will definitely be back and tell everyone we know about this cozy mountain home away from home.

This property was perfect for 2 couples. The floor plan was accommodating and it's a pretty cozy cabin with an outstanding view. On our last morning the blue smoke really showed off for us out there on the mountain. The indoor jacuzzi tub could stand a good jet clean out and a better scrub. The rest of the cabin was clean and well maintained. We were so happy it was also pet friendly.

Amazing stay! Gorgeous views and such a lovely house. The beds were comfortable and the house super clean. We had such a wonderful time and we can’t wait to return.

The place was perfect for a quiet getaway. The road up was as expected, narrow and curvy. Some of the best jets on a hot tub I have ever experienced. I would suggest anyone wanting a relaxing time, book this place.

Me and my fiancé stayed here for my birthday weekend.. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS CABIN! The most perfect views and well worth the money paid! We most definitely would stay here again! It is a perfect location for what we wanted to do! Would recommend to anyone! Be careful of the road up to the cabin and it’s sharp turns!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this cabin and views are incredible, the view alone is worth paying to stay at this cabin. Some things that weren’t really in the description; there’s only one shower it’s upstairs, it’s not attached to the bedroom, it’s just a basic bath tub, single sink and toilet it’s not very fancy but very functional! There’s also a spot on the bathtub floor that looks like it was filled in with body filler or something similar, kind of weird but not a big deal. Also the drive way up to the cabin the first time going up it is terrifying, it just gets steeper and steeper but if your staying there for a few days you get use to it, having a 4wheel or all wheel drive car is probably a good idea to take here. And lastly, you are pretty secluded, there are other cabins around but this cabin is in-front of them so it’s pretty private. But over all the cabin is very nice, very functional for 2 people. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Our stay was amazing! The road up was caused a little anxiety at first but after going up and down multiple times a day to go to Sevierville, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, it wasn’t so bad. The view was spectacular! The pictures do not do it justice. The home was clean, comfortable and we loved that it had a wood burning fireplace and jetted tub! We were able to sit out in the hot tub every night and enjoy the peaceful nights and the sounds of nature. The location is close to restaurants, shopping, gas stations and all other activities that you can enjoy as a couple or a family. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Amber & Brooks Clauss

This is a GREAT location but do NOT ask for an early check in!They are very strict with this and the communication /trying to get a hold of someone is very horrible!

Absolutely beautiful location!!! The road was terrifying, and you’d definitely need an AWD vehicle in any sort of inclement weather to get to the cabin, but once up there, it’s so peaceful, so quiet, and so secluded. The house was so nice, everything was clean and home-y feeling. The view is unmatched and being able to sit in the hot tub at night looking over the mountains was just amazing. The customer service was wonderful, too!

We absolutely loved our view at this cabin, it was so beautiful! Cabin was very clean, close to the attractions and area wasn’t over populated or loud like previous places we have stayed. We would definitely book again!

Perfect stay. Everything as described. We have stayed in several cabins in the area and this cabin by far the best views we have ever had. Super clean, beds comfy, no issues at all. The only reservation I would ever have would be if there is snow I would not want to brave going up or down that road. We would definitely stay here again

The cabin was a oasis for me and my husband. The scenery on our deck was breath taking…location was perfect for viewing the smokey mountains. I recommend to look no further. This cabin is a must see. Will b back if we come throu the smokey mountains again…

Absolutely fantastic location! Love the porch with the jacuzzi and everything. Relaxing location at the top of the hill. The pictures don't do it justice. Cabin overall was very well built, very modern and very comfortable. Some amenities are missing, but easily purchased at the nearest shop. This place is like the perfect getaway in the middle of the woods. Love it. Would highly recommend, and would revisit in future

Incredible location and view. Super close to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge, and a very easy drive to Gatlinburg and the Smokies. There are a decent pizza place that delivers and a really great distillery about a mile away. Very clean and well appointed. We were a family of four- two tall adults and two small children- with two dogs, one small and one medium. The space was perfectly sized and laid out for our needs. It would also be ideal for a couples getaway. The hot tub was used multiple times daily. We barely saw another soul the entire time despite other properties on the street being occupied. Total privacy on the back deck and in the hot tub. There was an issue with our key code on arrival but the property manager got us squared away very quickly. The hot tub was heated, the lights were on and the temperature in the house was great. Checkout checklist was very reasonable. We will 100% try to stay here again when back in the area.

This was an amazing cabin to stay at! The views were spectacular and the location was PERFECT. The drive was intense but got easier throughout the week. It goes up a very VERY steep mountain to get to the top, so just be warned! Cabin was very clean, and the hot tub was amazinggggg!

It was so homey and romantic and a great way to have spent our anniversary. This cabin is clean and well stocked. It was absolutely perfect! We will definitely be coming back!!

This is a great cabin. The drive up is a bit steep but take your time it's no problem. Views were beyond exceptional. Worth every penny. Not large or tall friendly. Showerhead is low and toilets are in tight spaces but easily overlooked for the view and privacy. Would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway.

We brought all of our groceries, and everything we needed to cook full meals and have tea time was available! There were extra games, puzzles, and movies to use. It’s the perfect place for a mountain get away.

You won’t regret it. It’s the best spot I’ve ever spent the night, aside from my backpacking experiences. The views are amazing. It’s secluded. It’s close to everything. Everything worked. Super clean. Booking, check in, and check out was easy. The hot tub in the evenings was amazing. Highly recommend stay. Guys, it’s a great place to take a girlfriend or spouse! Trust me. 😉

Was great stay just we hardly had any towels or toilet paper I suggest to the people who stay at this cabin please bring towels and toilet paper if you don't you will regret it. Also we never used the hot tub because it would never shut off it was very annoying when your trying to relax

The house and view were great. Perfect location for the attractions in the area. I would have liked coffee filters , maybe bottled water some complimentary things for the price. But overall clean and great location.

We had a great stay at the cabin. Our only complaint was there was maybe only two washcloths for our 4 night stay. So we had to do laundry several times. The hot tub felt amazing. The views were spectacular. It was an easy checkin process as they emailed us a couple of days before. Our only wish is that checkin time was earlier. But alas…

It was a beautiful place the view was great, but the stairs leading into the house has a board loose and has caused a few trip ups. Also the ceiling fans make a weird noise when turned on and the tv up in the loft would never work it would turn on but never showed anything.I think the cleaning fee is a bit much for all the stuff you have to do prior to leaving the cabin. Overall it was really nice and a beautiful place to stay just had a few issues.

The view is amazing but the dishes were dirty and the cabin needed a really good cleaning. There are minimum supplies so make sure to take everything u need. We only had one role of toilet paper.
