Are you ready to run the most exciting race of your life? Enter the Pigeon Forge Midnight 8K, an eight kilometer race that takes place on the Pigeon Forge Parkway. Run down the empty neon streets of Pigeon Forge for a race experience unlike any other!
Taking place on August 4, 2012, the race will begin at 11:59:59 – a true midnight adventure for everyone involved! Hosted by The Knoxville Track Club, this annual midnight run gets bigger and better every year.
Even if you aren’t the neighborhood jogger, this race is for everyone. The course is fast and flat, promising a personal best time for all the avid runners!
Imagine jogging through the empty and quiet streets of Pigeon Forge at midnight. The storefronts will be dim, while the brightly-lit signs will cast colorful glows across the pavement. You’re running with your friends, family, or by yourself in solace.

The average weather for Pigeon Forge in August is expected to be hot and humid, even at the early twilight hours. Runners are asked to hydrate well and dress minimally to stay cool and refreshed!
After the race, contestants will gather together to relive their experience and enjoy light refreshments. You can head back to your cabin tired and satisfied, having bounded through the streets of downtown Pigeon Forge.
