It’s that time again! The annual Saddle Up festival is coming to the Smokies from February 18-22 so that lovers of the Old West can experience the past come to life! You can walk among cowboys as you listen to music, eat authentic food, and hear real tales of days past. Celebrate the beginning of another great year by experiencing history in the present. For the last 14 years, this festival has brought joy to people of all ages. Music lovers and Western heritage enthusiasts alike love this festival. Throughout the week, several different locations will play host to Saddle Up festival events.

Some local favorites are: Kent Rollins, Chuck Pyle, Baxter Black, and Wylie & the Wild West! Rollins has been featured on multiple television shows, including The Food Network’s “Throwdown with Bobby Flay” and “Chopped.” Chuck Pyle has over 40 years of music experience, and he has had his songs recorded by many well-known artists, including: John Denver, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and many more. Baxter Black is a poet of sorts who has been entertaining for 25 years. His work has been well received by being published in books as well as magazines. Wylie & the Wild West has been performing for over 25 years! You will not want to miss out om the music, food, and stories of this year’s Saddle Up festival!
