When you’re not swimming, enjoy playing arcade games or shooting pool in the rec room; cozying up in front of the fireplace and big screen TV in the living room; and unwinding in the rocking chairs on the deck. You can whip up meals in your fully equipped kitchen, toss burgers on the grill for cookouts, and take advantage of conveniences like the washer/dryer, wireless internet, and chic showers.
Living Room
The living room of Splash ‘N Love Shack is rustic yet modern, with exposed wood beams, modern wood walls, and a beautiful stone fireplace (electric; no heat) that sets a cozy mood. Set drinks and snacks on the large coffee table as you read a book by lamplight or watch TV on the big screen. A table behind the sofa is great for snacking while watching a movie or having some coffee before starting the day, and the windows along the wall allow you to enjoy the beautiful views and sun streaming in.
Kitchen
The cozy kitchen is dressed to the nines, with unique lighting overhead, light wood cabinets, stone countertops, and black and stainless steel appliances. Fill the spacious fridge/freezer with ingredients for your favorite meals or leftovers from dinners downtown. It also features an oven with a stovetop, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and dishes and utensils for meals in the cabin. You’ll even have a dishwasher to do the cleaning up when you’re done cooking.
Dining Area
Set between the living room and kitchen, the dining table has 6 stools and valley views. Enjoy cabin-made meals here, set out pizza from downtown, or do some holiday crafts when mealtime is over. It’s also a great spot for board games or cards on those lazy days hanging around the cabin. Or, enjoy a romantic dinner once the kids have gone to bed!
Private Indoor Pool
The lower level of Splash ‘N Love Shack hosts its most treasured amenity: the private indoor pool! Forget rainy days; the private indoor pool provides entertainment no matter the weather or season. Cool off in summer or have some unique winter fun in your private space! Adults can watch from the table as kids enjoy burning off some energy in the pool.
Rec Room
The private indoor pool isn’t the only entertainment at Splash ‘N Love Shack! Have fun in the rec room, where you can shoot pool, play on the barrel-style multicade arcade unit, or just flip on the TV and hang out. Kids and adults (or kids at heart!) will love this fun and relaxing space.
Bedrooms
Call it a night in the 2 comfortable bedrooms at Splash ‘N Love Shack. Across the bedrooms, find 2 log queen beds, a custom king bed, ceiling fans, and flatscreen TVs – so there’s no fighting over the remote. The showers are stylish, and with 2 ½ bathrooms, it will be easy to get ready without feeling cramped. The living room also has a queen sleeper sofa if you’ll have a full house at the cabin.
Outdoor Spaces
No trip to the Great Smoky Mountains is complete without some time spent in the great outdoors. You don’t even have to leave your cabin for that at Splash ‘N Love Shack! After heading up your flat, paved driveway with motorcycle-friendly parking and space for 4 cars, enjoy beautiful mountain and valley views.
Start days with a cup of coffee on the deck or end the evening sipping local wine or moonshine (or hot cocoa) from the rocking chairs. When you want to cook out, take advantage of the charcoal, picnic-style grill here.
Other Amenities
With a location in the Black Bear Ridge Resort, Splash ‘N Love Shack offers even more amenities – like a chapel for those making wedding plans. Conveniences at the cabin include high-speed Wi-Fi so you can stay connected and a washer and dryer to wash pool towels or freshen clothes after hikes.
