    Living room
The Lodge at Gists Creek is set up with groups in mind, offering 2 main living spaces that both feature dining tables. When the whole group wants to sit down for a meal, there will be plenty of space in the cabin to spread out. The living room is furnished with leather sofas, a coffee table large enough for board games and card games, and a TV for watching ball games and movies.

The high ceilings open up the space, and the windows along one side let in natural light and frame views of the peaceful front yard. Two of the dining tables are also here, making it easy to chat with other guests who are having a snack or grabbing something off the game-day buffet.

    Den
A second living room/den offers more cozy seating for the group, along with large windows that let in lots of light. With no TV here, it’s a peaceful place to chat, read a book, and relax. It’s also where you’ll find another dining table sitting along another wall of large windows. On days you want to hang out in the cabin and unwind, this is sure to be a favorite spot.

In fall and winter, curl up here with a cup of coffee while you watch the leaves change or the snow cover the trees. In spring and summer, stay cool on hot days with a glass of lemonade and a good book. Year-round, it’s the perfect place to enjoy the serenity of the Smokies.

    Kitchen
The galley-style kitchen in The Lodge at Gists Creek offers ample counter space for prepping meals or having more than one cook working on dinner. It features light wood cabinets, black appliances – a refrigerator, dishwashers, a stove/oven, and microwave – along with countertop essentials like coffeemakers, a toaster, a knife set, and more.

The kitchen is also outfitted with enough dishes, glassware, and utensils for in-cabin meals. While there are plenty of restaurants in downtown Pigeon Forge, having a fully equipped kitchen is a nice perk when you don’t want to get out of the cabin. You can check out our blog for easy in-cabin recipes or ideas for holiday treats to try in the cabin!

    Dining tables
With 3 dining tables in the cabin, The Lodge at Gists Creek offers enough room for groups to eat meals together in the cabin. Between the 3 dining tables, there is room for about 20; the nearby living rooms offer sofa seating, and there are tables on the patio for outdoor dining on nice days! Groups can also sit down at the picnic table outside or spread out picnic blankets for a fun and private picnic.

    Rec room
What’s a mountain getaway with a place to play right inside the cabin? The Lodge at Gists Creek has a spacious rec room with games and amenities to keep both kids and adults entertained and comfortable. You can kick back on the sectional sofa while watching a ball game on the big screen TV, play pool and foosball, or play cards and board games on the high-top tables.

When the adults need some quiet time, the kids can head down here to play and watch their favorite movies. But with so much space, you could have almost your whole group playing and hanging out here together! Grab some snacks and drinks and enjoy a movie marathon or your favorite holiday classics in this cool cabin in Pigeon Forge.

    Bedrooms
When you vacation with a group, you want enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably. The Lodge at Gists Creek provides just that, with sleeping accommodations for up to 25 guests. Across the 7 bedrooms you’ll have 3 king-size beds, 3 queen-size beds, 3 twin bunk beds, 1 twin-over-full bunk bed, and 2 sleeper sofas (1 in the living room, 1 in a bedroom).

All the bedrooms have their own TVs, and conveniences like nightstands, dressers, and reading lamps make the spaces feel more like home. After busy days touring the Titanic Museum Attraction, shopping at The Island in Pigeon Forge, or hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, these bedrooms will be welcome retreats.

    Outdoor spaces
The Lodge at Gists Creek boasts truly unique outdoor spaces for a cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains. Its large, flat yard offers tons of space for kicking around a soccer ball, playing corn hole, or just letting kids get out some roadtrip energy. A flat yard here also means a flat driveway, meaning no parking on an incline.

As the yard stretches out to the woods surrounding it, you’ll find a picnic table and a fire pit for telling stories, making s’mores, and roasting hot dogs. Nights will be spent around the fire here, while days will be spent taking advantage of all the outdoor space. In summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day), spend days splashing around in your private outdoor pool! Each detail of The Lodge at Gists Creek really was made with groups in mind!

A spacious front porch has rocking chairs and a porch swing, while the patio offers outdoor dining tables, a gas grill, and a relaxing hot tub. It’s a nice place to relax and enjoy the wooded surroundings, especially in fall when the leaves are changing!

    Other amenities
If you like staying connected (or want to see what events are happening) when you’re away, you’ll appreciate the high-speed wireless internet in the cabin. You’ll also have a DVD player, an electric fireplace, and a washer/dryer to freshen up clothes after a hike.

    Local fun
While The Lodge at Gists Creek could keep you occupied for days, you’ll probably want to get out of the cabin and explore some. Thankfully, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have plenty to do, from shopping and dining to world-class attractions. There are dozens to choose from, but here are just a few favorites:

    The Island
Celebrity-owned restaurants, a show fountain, a ropes course, an arcade, ice cream shops, candy stores, Smoky Mountain gear, moonshine, the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel…find it all during a fun day at The Island!

    Country Tonite Theatre
The shows at the Country Tonite Theatre are not just for country music lovers. The dazzling lights, colorful costumes, hilarious comedy, and fun choreography will entertain guests of all ages!

    Titanic Museum Attraction
A hands-on experience for kids and adults, the Titanic Museum Attraction on the Parkway allows you to tour the ship with the boarding pass of an actual passenger before learning “your” fate. You can touch an iceberg, walk the Grand Staircase, and so much more.
