It’s furnished with a sofa, loveseat, and 2 matching chairs, along with side tables and a coffee table in a rustic mountain style. Kids can gather around on the area rug in the center of the room as you open gifts in front of the fire or play board games together.
The beautiful stone fireplace reaches to the ceiling, and a big flatscreen TV is mounted above the mantel. While you play and relax here, enjoy the stunning views of the Great Smoky Mountains through the many windows all around. This sunny room is bright and comfortable – perfect for quality time with the ones you love.

For many, it’s “What are we going to eat?” Thankfully, LeConte Bear Plunge makes it an easy decision, offering easy access to restaurants downtown and a fully equipped kitchen right inside the cabin! You can stop by the grocery store or the farmers market (in season) and stock the cabin with all your favorite drinks, snacks, and ingredients for meals.
If you want to save some money or just love cooking, you’ll appreciate this beautifully styled space. You’ll have stainless steel appliances – a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, and microwave – along with countertop essentials like a knife set, toaster, coffeemaker, and Keurig. The kitchen also has utensils, dishes, and glassware, along with a dining table for 8 beneath a cool antler chandelier.
And because it opens up to the living room, you can easily enjoy conversation with others eating or hanging out in the next room or enjoy the awesome mountain views through the windows. And if the big game is on, use the table for a buffet spread of your favorite game-day snacks and drinks. Then you can grab a bite without missing a play. There are even some barstools with a built-in table along one side of the kitchen for extra seating.
What is a vacation without some games? At LeConte Bear Plunge, you’ll have a rec room that’s loaded with fun, so keeping a group entertained will be a breeze. If getting your group ready in time to see a movie downtown seems like too much work, stay in and have movie in your own theater in the cabin! The warm wall color sets the mood, and you can flip off the lights and shut the doors when you’re ready for the movie to start. The room is equipped with 11 theater-style seats (with their own cup holders), along with a big screen TV and Blu-ray/DVD player. Plus, you can check out the movie library if you didn’t bring along your favorites. On rainy days or nights you just want to hang around the cabin, the theater room is sure to be a favorite spot.
Private indoor pool
With a location in the Sherwood Forest community, LeConte Bear Plunge offers access to a community pool. In the summer, head there to play around and get some sun. But any other time of year – or when you want to stay cool in the summer – take advantage of your private indoor pool at your Pigeon Forge cabin! You’ll have pool towels, windows that show off mountain views, and seating for the adults who want to just relax and watch the kids.
This 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom cabin has space for 22, giving guests quiet places to retreat after exciting days playing mini golf in Pigeon Forge, shopping at the outlets, or exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Among the bedrooms, you’ll find 2 king-size beds, 1 queen-size bed, 1 queen-over-queen bunk bed, and 2 twin-over-full bunk beds. Plus, if you need some extra sleeping space, you’ll have 1 queen futon and 2 sleeper sofas in the cabin.
All the bedrooms have their own TVs, and they feature different conveniences like dressers and/or nightstands, lamps, and of course, the 5 bathrooms that make getting a group ready even easier.
While the interior of LeConte Bear Plunge is beautiful and comfortable, the outdoor spaces are equally impressive. On nice days, head out on the decks to soak in the scenery. Brew a cup of coffee on cold days or make a glass of ice-cold lemonade to sip on a hot summer day. You’ll have shade on the deck as you sit in the rocking chairs and unwind in the mountains.
There is also a hot tub on the deck, so you can soak those tired muscles after long days. Then grill some kabobs, burgers, or steaks on the charcoal grill and sit down for a meal outside at the picnic table.
