Homestead Hideaway’s lovely living room is the perfect balance of homey comfort and rustic log-cabin appeal with cushy leather furnishings set in all-wood interiors and stunning mountain views through impressive windows that crown the room. Sink into the window-side reading chairs and pull up your feet while enjoying a good book by the fire or an evening nightcap with friends after a night out in Pigeon Forge.
Underneath the cathedral ceiling and exposed log beams, drift off into a rejuvenating nap in the soft daylight pouring in through the open-concept room. Use the spacious living room area for group wedding party games with the girls or a family game of charades while waiting for dinner to cook in the oven.
Kitchen
Sparkling black countertops and modern appliances offer a balanced contrast to the mountain-motif interiors of Homestead Hideaway’s kitchen. Spread out all your groceries or set up a self-serve buffet for dinner on the convenient island that is centrally located to the kitchen and the dining room table. Pop your leftovers in the microwave for a quick meal on the go when heading out to explore Cades Cove or the historic Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community for some prime souvenir shopping.
Cooking is fun but creates quite the mess, and thankfully Homestead Hideaway’s kitchen supplies a large double sink and a dishwasher to ease the process so you can get back to having fun! Pop your English muffins in the toaster and pour yourself a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee to enjoy the early golden sunlight pouring over the mountains from your quaint dining set on the back deck.
Dining Room
Under the warm lighting of the pendant antler chandelier, toast to reconnecting with friends or spending quality family time at the dinner table uninterrupted by the normal distractions back home. Dine with the views of the mountains, even from the dining room table, during peaceful breakfasts and talkative lunches after your morning of prime tee-time at the Gatlinburg Golf Course. With space to gather for board games, late-night desserts, and hearty meals, moments spent around this lovely 6-chair wood set are sure to be many of your favorites.
Office
Use the beautifully crafted desk and matching chair in the office at your Pigeon Forge cabin rental to catch up on emails, set up a workspace for homeschooling the kids, or research local things to do on your Smoky Mountain retreat. There’s an inviting daybed to kick back and relax. And you can swing open the doors to the deck here to take in the fresh mountain air anytime!
Bedrooms
Cozy king and queen-size beds, homey touches like closets and nightstands, and flatscreen TVs to kick back with daytime TV before napping or to slowly drift off in the evenings provide every guest with a relaxing, private room. There’s also a twin-size daybed and trundle in the office for additional guests, and you’ll have a mix of a walk-in shower and shower/tub combo in the bathrooms for added convenience.
Pull back the covers after a long day of rollercoasters and live shows in Dollywood, and if you are staying in the primary suite, unwind from all the excitement with a nice, long bath in the free-standing tub. Mosey out of the primary suite’s king-size bed to invigorating mountain air through the bedroom double doors leading to the deck to survey the beauty of nature and start your day.
Rec Room
Bring growlers from Smoky Mountain Brewery and get ready for a fantastic night of hanging out in the lower-level rec room, playing cards and pool at the gaming table, and playing all those throwback arcade games on the 2 free-play Multicade systems. Pile onto the plush sofa and loveseat with the kids for movies on the whopping big screen TV on laid-back in-cabin afternoons before taking them out to the nearby hiking trails to get some fresh air and fun exercise.
Outdoor Amenities
The 2 decks are your front row seats to the magnificence of the expansive rolling mountains in Wears Valley. Soak up some sunshine and fresh air while relaxing in the 2 lounge chairs, play a game of cards while seated around the outdoor dining set, and throw some veggies and steaks on the charcoal grill for a delicious smoked meal. Spanning the length of the cabin, the entry-level deck provides ample space to set up a game of Cornhole or other outdoor games from home!
In need of some quality “you” time? Bring your book and sip your coffee on the lower deck, where you can enjoy getting lost in a good read. And at the end of each day, there’s no better way to enjoy the crisp night air and starry skies than while soaking in the steamy outdoor hot tub.
