One thing you won’t see here is other cabins; Altitude Adjustment offers a peaceful, secluded location that’s sure to sweep you away. From the front porch, back deck, patio, and several spaces inside, the beautiful valley vistas of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are unbeatable.
There are plenty of places to relax in this spacious 4,000-square-foot cabin, from an outdoor hot tub looking out over the city and 3 master bedrooms with private baths to tables on the deck and lounge chairs on the patio. This 5-bedroom, 4 ½-bathroom cabin for 12 also offers a long list of conveniences, making stays comfortable and fun.
The flat, paved driveway makes arrivals easy, and the high-speed wireless internet will keep you connected and let you see what events are going on during your stay. It also has conveniences like a washer/dryer, TVs in the bedrooms, a DVD player, and 2 kitchens! But the views and unique amenities – like a popcorn machine, full bar, wood pellet stove, helipad, and shuffleboard court – that make this cabin such a standout.
Spacious, elegant, and comfortable are three words to describe the living room of Altitude Adjustment. The oversized space features an inviting electric fireplace, along with leather reclining sofas and chairs and a coffee table large enough for cards on game night. While guests settle in front of the fireplace with a good book or to chat, others can catch up on some work at the desk. For the dads who love the afternoon recliner nap, the chairs with awesome mountain views and a bit of sun will be a favorite living room spot.
When you’re traveling with a group, you need a lot of space for entertaining, chatting, and relaxing. Altitude Adjustment offers a spacious living room and a cozy den – two great places to unwind. The warm and inviting den features a black bear motif, along with an electric fireplace, windows that look out over the woods, and a big screen TV with a variety of satellite channels. When the kids want to play around, the adults can spend some time catching up and relaxing in this cozy space. It’s also the perfect spot for opening holiday gifts or watching a ball game on a day at the cabin.
The main kitchen in Altitude Adjustment is set up for multiple cooks in the kitchen at once, with a U-shaped design, ample counter space, and an island. When you want to store leftovers, whip up a quick snack, or make a meal for the group, take advantage of having a stove/oven, microwave, toaster over, dishwasher, coffeemakers and toaster, and a double-door refrigerator with a spacious freezer drawer.
There is plenty of room to make meals here, and there is also an opening that looks out over the sunroom, allowing you to enjoy more of those awesome mountain views even while getting dinner ready!
Sunroom | Breakfast Bar
Just off the main kitchen is a light and bright sunroom, furnished with a dining table for 4 and a breakfast bar. With tons of windows all around, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy a meal on a nice day or let the kids eat and hang out. You can flip on the ceiling fan on hot summer days or step out onto the deck to get a bit of fresh air.
While you have many great options for dining in downtown Pigeon Forge, Altitude Adjustment doesn’t disappoint for in-cabin meals. The elegant and spacious dining room features a black-and-white-checkered floor, a glass-top table, and a huge window framing views of the Smoky Mountains and trees. When you want to sit down for a family meal or enjoy a romantic dinner with a few couples, this is the place to be.
Located on the lower level, a second kitchen – a fully equipped butler’s kitchen – provides even more space for making snacks, drinks, and meals. Here you’ll find a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and double sink. It will make whipping up some bar food or game-day snacks a breeze!
Big Al-titude Bar
Forget crowded, loud bars when you want a night out. In Altitude Adjustment, you have your own full bar right inside the cabin! The Big Al-titude Bar is decorated pub-style, with a beautiful wooden bar and mirrors, plenty of glassware, barstools, a glass-top barrel table, a flatscreen TV, a wood pellet stove, and a popcorn machine. This room is sure to impress your guests, whether you’re here for a family reunion, corporate retreat, girls’ getaway, a weekend with couples, or a bachelor party!
You can stop by Ole Smoky Moonshine to grab some drinks or get a few bottles of local wine to enjoy here. It’s the perfect place to hang out at night or watch a ball game with your favorite drinks and snacks. And when you need some fresh air, you can step through the French doors and onto the covered patio that has more seating, tables, and chaise lounges.
Just down the hall from the Big Al-titude Bar is the game room, where you can relax on the sofas or play ping pong and pool! Open and relaxed, this will be a favorite spot for kids and kids at heart. On rainy days or lazy days when you just don’t want to leave the cabin, it will be nice to have plenty of entertainment at your fingertips.
Altitude Adjustment has plenty of room for 12, with 3 master suites with private baths and 2 more bedrooms that share a bathroom. Two master bedrooms are located on the main level, while the other three bedrooms with comfortable beds and 2 full baths are located on the lower level. Each features unique décor and its own TV. In all, Altitude Adjustment offers 1 king-size bed, 3 queen-size beds, and 2 full beds.
Evenings at Altitude Adjustment are lovely, when you can take your pick between stargazing or looking out over the lights of the city below. A mix of benches, picnic tables, and bistro-style tables provides guests with quiet places to sip on a cup of coffee or have a glass of wine before heading to bed.
On nice days, fire up the gas grill and enjoy some steaks and burgers fresh off the grill, or sit down for a peaceful lunch at the picnic table on the deck. Altitude Adjustment also has a large concrete pad in the backyard that serves as a shuffleboard court or is great for games of cornhole. It even serves as a private helipad! The level yard is another perk, perfect for outdoor dining and games. This level of privacy and amount of outdoor space is a rare find! The privacy and peacefulness also afford guests the unique opportunity to watch for deer, wild turkeys, and even fox!
There is always something to do in downtown Pigeon Forge, from food and music festivals and arts and crafts shows to shopping and dining and world-renowned attractions.
