Cabin was perfect!

Loved the place very secluded . Had 3 bears on the porch . A little scary but was awesome to actually get to see them Never got to use the Hot Tub and that was very disappointing that’s one of the main reasons for getting that place . The reason being the water was full of rusty looking stuff and when you turned it on it would shoot out in big clouds . Only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom . One was only a half of roll . If I would’ve known that I would’ve brought my own . And there was a glass in the cabinet that was dirty had a milk ring thick . Also the quilt in the one bedroom was kinda shaggy old . Expected it to be a little nicer .

This property is perfect for a small getaway! Loved that the bedrooms/bathrooms were on opposite sides of the home for privacy — especially when traveling with another couple. Our little loved having her own space upstairs in the loft with a bed and TV to herself. The driveway is steep, but nothing they didn’t warn us about! It’s very secluded. It’s not in one of those neighborhoods with tons of rentals, which is nice!

It was in a great location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We had an issue with the hot tub and they sent someone out right away to fix it. We did have a great time and the issues were addressed quickly. The first night we got in the hot tub and the next morning it was brown. They sent someone out to change the water and clean it. It was clean when we got back, but it wasn't warm enough so we didn't get in the second night. The next morning it was brown again. The toilet in the second bathroom dripped the entire time. The jets in the first bathtub didn't work.

There's a happy childhood home in my memory I can see. Standing out upon the hill 'neath the shadow of the tree. If I only had my way it would give my heart a thrill. Just to simply wander back to the cabin on the hill. Oh I want to wander back to the cabin on the hill. 'Neath the shadow of the tree I would like to linger still. Just to be with those I love joy my heart would over fill. Just to simply wander back to the cabin on the hill. Stand on the porch, close your eyes, and you hear Flatt and Scruggs in the distance... :-) You'd be a fool not to rent this cabin!

Lovely cabin at the top of a steep hill. It was so nice have two master suites with their own tubs. Enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the evenings, and rocking on the porch swing. Gave it 4 stars because th cabin could use some updating, the tv in the living room is very old and there are some signs of aging around the cabin. Would comeback again!

The only reason that I am leaving such a negative review of the cabin is because of the air conditioning. During the day, the cabin rarely got below 78 degrees and the last few nights of our stay it was up to 80! We followed the instructions of not lowering the temp by more than three degrees per hour, but the AC didn't make a dent in the heat. It only dropped to a bearable temp because of the outside temps at night and in the morning. It was pushing out cool air, but you could hardly feel it from the vents. That, paired with a lack of fans in the bedrooms, made for a sauna when trying to sleep. Other than that, the cabin was great. It was clean and spacious, and well-furnished. The location was off the beaten path so we had plenty of privacy. The other thing that I'll mention is be prepared for wildlife visits. We had the same raccoon come back and stand outside the front door every night so it was clear that it had been fed by previous visitors. This prevented us from being able to enjoy the hot tub or even sit on the front porch in the evening. As long as CFY fixes the air conditioner, I would recommend this cabin to friends and family.
