The Easter Bunny is hopping into the Great Smoky Mountains soon! He’ll be bringing fun Easter events, yummy seasonal foods and Easter treats, blooming spring wildflowers, fresh spring air, and more. 2020 Easter Events
There are always a lot of things happening in the Great Smoky Mountains, and Easter is no different. While you’re here for Easter, be sure to plan some time around these great events going on. 

Great Smoky Easter Arts & Crafts Show | April 8 – 11
The Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community is a staple in the Smokies, and they hold annual events throughout the year. This Easter, stroll through the many aisles of handcrafted items to find the perfect gifts – leather goods, quilts, jewelry, stained glass, paintings, wood sculptures, birdhouses, handmade soaps, baskets, and so much more! Oh, and you can watch these talented artisans at work too! 

10 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily 

Brunch with the Easter Bunny | April 11
Don’t miss out on this fun event for the kids, where you can sit down for a delicious meal at the Old Mill Pottery House Café & Grille with the Easter Bunny himself! They’ll also have door prizes, duck feeding, and kids’ activities.

Easter Egg Hunt | April 11
Head to Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge this Easter for the area’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. They’ll have thousands of hidden eggs hidden, lots of prizes for the kids, and of course a visit from the Easter Bunny. Kids 12 and under are welcome to search for eggs at the hunt, and it’s sure to be a great time for the whole family!

Easter Sunrise Service at Ober | April 12
Start your 2020 Easter with a beautiful non-denominational service atop Mt. Harrison at Ober Gatlinburg. Several pastors lead the service as the sun rises over the Smokies at this free event. It features complimentary tram rides and a chance to donate to local charities. Seasons of Ober Restaurant features a breakfast buffet (kids 5 and under – FREE, kids 5-10 – $12.95, adults – $14.95). 

5 a.m. – tram rides begin; 6:30 a.m. service starts; 7:15 – 10:30 a.m. breakfast buffet

Easter in the Cabin
While there are obviously some great events to check out in Pigeon Forge, you can stay in your Pigeon Forge cabin and still have fun! The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is known for its incredible variety of wildflowers, and of course springtime is the perfect time to view them! Along the more than 800 miles of trails found throughout the park that spans states, wildflowers dot the landscape – showy orchids, violets, bleeding hearts, lady slipper orchids, and much, much more!
