Convenient transportation on the Fun Time Trolley
Summer’s a great time to visit Pigeon Forge because of all the exciting events, beautiful weather, and great attractions. But because of all the great things Pigeon Forge offers, summer is also a very popular time to visit. That means more crowds and busy streets. Waiting in traffic can get frustrating, and then you have to find a place to park at the different attractions, shops, and restaurants you want to visit. Instead of braving the traffic in your own car, consider taking the scenic route. You can get to all the major attractions while enjoying the scenery and foregoing the usual stresses of driving in traffic. Just sit back and relax on the Fun Time Trolley! Running through Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, this charming method of transportation was started in 1986 by the City of Pigeon Forge to “provide a safe, affordable, and convenient ‘hop on, hop off’ type of transportation service.” Today, it still serves that purpose, continuing its tradition of affordable transportation that makes it easy to get around in this growing mountain town.
All-day wristbands are available for just $2.50, making getting around Pigeon Forge truly affordable. There are also lots of stops throughout Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, so the Fun Time Trolley is also very convenient. In all, there are more than 100 stops along the combined routes. Along with being convenient and affordable, it’s really just a fun way to see what all Pigeon Forge has to offer! The trolley operators are incredibly familiar with the area, so they should be able to answer questions you have along the way. Just find a Fun Time Trolley shelter or Trolley bear sign and a Pigeon Forge Trolley will arrive soon. The main terminal is located at 186 Old Mill Avenue next to Patriot Park and The Old Mill, so you can start there after enjoying a meal and some shopping at The Old Mill in the morning. Kids will love the novelty of the Fun Time Trolley, and you’ll appreciate the convenience and wallet-friendly price – everyone wins!
