From November 8 until January 3, four million Christmas lights will light up Pigeon Forge’s Dollywood to make for a winter wonderland dream. Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas festival is the five-time winner of America’s Best Christmas Event. With an assortment of activities and shows, Dollywood at Christmastime will fill the whole family with warmth and holiday cheer!

Christmas on Ice – The indoor ice skating production is one of the newest attractions added to the park. The original show will feature performances from some of the nation’s premier dancers. The show also has six singers who perform Christmas classics like “Snow,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” and “I’ll be Home For Christmas,” along with many more.

“My new Dollywood’s Christmas on Ice show is filled with some of my very favorite Christmas songs, beautiful costumes and incredibly talented ice skaters. It’s the first ice rink we’ve ever created at Dollywood, and I just can’t wait for folks to see all the unbelievable twists and spins, along with, of course, the entire park that’s filled with all of the many wonderful sights and sounds of Christmas!”
-Dolly Parton

Meet Rudolph and Friends – The Christmas story everyone loves, Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer comes to life at Dollywood this winter. Children of all ages will be able to meet Rudolph, along with friends such as Clarice, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, and Yukon Cornelius.

Parade of Lights – Who doesn’t love a parade? Come experience a parade that is sure wow anyone! It features Christmas floats strung with bright and colorful lights, along with life-size holiday characters walking up and down the street to greet and bring smiles to everyone they meet!

Santa’s Workshop – Among the hustle and bustle of Christmastime, Santa is waiting to hear all of the children’s wishes, from dolls and action figures to trucks and bikes. Children can then explore the toy store – filled with life-size toys – and enjoy interactive activities.

As the night comes to a close, stop by one of the many park restaurants serving holiday feasts. There will be turkey, ham, dressing, and pecan pie to finish it off. How could anyone pass up that kind of meal? If you prefer a more private holiday meal, you can take your family back to one of our Pigeon Forge cabins and have a nice Christmas meal in the peace of your own space.

At the end of the day, Dollywood captures all the spirits of the most wonderful time of the year while celebrating the true meaning of the Christmas. A Christmas that your family will never forget is awaiting you at the one and only Dollywood. Don’t miss out this holiday season!

Days and hours of operation vary during the Christmas season, so we encourage you to view the event schedule when planning a trip.
