Enjoy preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, sit down for family-style meals at the picnic table overlooking the trees, have a meal on the deck on nice days, spend a rainy day playing games in your spacious rec room, or gather for a big ball game in front of the big screen TV. However you spend your time here, you’ll have fun, stay comfortable, and have a memorable stay in the Smokies.

Living Room
Spend your days relaxing with friends or cheering on your team in the laid-back living room of Black Bear Lodge. Three big, comfy sofas surround a big screen TV, offering plenty of seating for a group to hang out. Adults can gather on the sofas, and kids can toss blankets and pillows on the floor in the center of the room on a movie night.

This will be the place you retreat to after long days to just relax and hang out. Through a large doorway, find the dining table and big windows showcasing mountain and wooded views.

Food is the center of many vacations. You spend much of your time planning where you’ll go out to eat, what kind of snacks to pack, and what/if you’ll cook. At Black Bear Lodge, mealtime is made a bit easier with a full kitchen equipped with all you need to store snacks for the whole group or to make meals for everyone.

Along with a ceiling fan to keep it cool when the oven’s going, the kitchen features closed and open shelving, a double sink, plenty of counter space, and all the appliances you’ll need. You’ll have a double-door refrigerator, coffeemakers, a dishwasher, an oven/stove, a microwave, and ample dishes, glassware, and utensils.

Cooking in the cabin is a great way to save money and cater to each guest during your stay, but if you don’t love cooking on vacation, you’ll have plenty of options downtown. Pigeon Forge offers cuisines for every taste, and it’s loaded with plenty of pancake houses for hearty mountain breakfasts!

Dining Area
The dining area of Black Bear Lodge is bright, airy, and inviting. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows that frame tree-lined views, the large picnic table can accommodate a large portion of your group. If you’re planning a meal with all 23 guests, you’ll find more dining space on the deck. Others can gather in the living room just steps from the dining table.

Sit down here for meals, or set out a big buffet of finger foods for guests to snack on as they come and go. Because it’s right next to the living room, it will be great for game-day treats without missing any of the action.

This 6-bedroom cabin offers enough space to sleep up to 23 guests between its 5 king-size beds, 1 twin-over-full bunk bed, and 5 queen sleeper sofas. The bedrooms feature comfortable mountain style, along with comforts like dressers, nightstands, and ceiling fans. There is even a TV in each bedroom, so every guest will have a nice retreat at the end of the day.

On those cool mountain nights, guests in 5 of the bedrooms can enjoy the coziness of a gas fireplace. Windows in the bedrooms frame wooded views (or mountain!) views, and some bedrooms even have jetted tubs for relaxing soaks before bed.

In the bunk bed room, kids will love having their own fun space. But with a full-size bed on bottom, the bunk room is also great for families wanting to stay together. If you’re staying with a big group and need more space than the bedrooms provide, the queen sleeper sofas will be very convenient.

Rec room
Everyone goes on vacation for different reasons, some for a break from work, some to reconnect with friends, and some to treat family to some quality time. But everyone has the same goal: have fun! At Black Bear Lodge, you’ll have no trouble staying entertained, especially in the awesome rec room.

With plenty of games and windows showcasing views of the Smoky Mountains, it’s a place you’ll really want to spend some time. Flip on the fans to stay cool in summer, or enjoy the inviting atmosphere that a gas fireplace provides in fall and winter. A big screen TV sits above the fireplace, and a cozy couch is great for afternoon naps or taking a break between games.

When you’re ready to play, you’ll find plenty to do. The rec room in Black Bear Lodge has 2 foosball tables, a pool table, an air hockey table, a Hoops Double Shoot basketball game, and a multicade arcade with Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Frogger, and more.

Outdoor spaces
Black Bear Lodge is certainly not short on fantastic outdoor spaces. The large wraparound decks offer tons of space for a group to enjoy the beautiful scenery and weather of the Great Smoky Mountains. You can enjoy meals at the picnic tables on the open and covered deck areas, sit down with a glass of wine in the rocking chairs, or end your evening with a soak in the hot tub.

With so much space, the whole group could be outside at once without feeling crowded. And those mountain, valley, and wooded views will provide that peaceful feeling that you look for when you get away to Pigeon Forge. Outside, you’ll also have a charcoal picnic-style grill for the days you want to make burgers, kabobs, or some fresh veggies.

Other amenities
