Located in the Beside the Still Waters community, Goodness and Mercy boasts a peaceful mountain setting in the Smokies. When you want to get away from it all, let your stresses melt away, pamper yourself, and unwind, slip away to this charming 1-bedroom, studio-style cabin less than 10 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge. It’s intimate and cozy enough for a couple but also offers space for up to 4 guests. It’s great for honeymoons, romantic weekends, small girls’ getaways, and small family vacations.

Inside, Goodness and Mercy offers a retreat for hot summer days, rainy spring mornings, cool mountain nights, and lazy days on vacation. Here you can curl up on the sofa in front of the fireplace and stay warm, flip on the big screen TV and watch your favorite movies on the Blu-ray player, make meals in your fully equipped kitchen and enjoy them at the 2-person dining table, or cozy up in the queen-size bed while browsing online via the wireless internet.

The outdoor spaces are equally cozy and inviting, with a classic log exterior, a picnic table for laid-back lunches, and a deck that’s perfect for quiet days and cool nights. The covered deck has 2 red rocking chairs where you can enjoy a drink, a 2-person dining table for outdoor meals or card games, and a soothing hot tub where you can soothe tired muscles at the end of a long day. Or you can take advantage of the amenities in the Beside the Still Waters community, including a community fire pit and nearby hiking trails.

When you’re ready to explore, there’s plenty to do in downtown Pigeon Forge. The community calendar is packed year-round with events, from holiday festivities, car shows, and races to fishing tournaments, kids’ activities, and parades. Goodness and Mercy is less than 10 miles from many area attractions and events. You can ride roller coasters at Dollywood, play at Ober Gatlinburg, drive go karts, play laser tag and miniature golf, shop at the Tanger Outlets, and so much more.

In the Beside the Still Waters community, Goodness and Mercy also has sister cabins that you can rent along with Goodness and Mercy when you’re traveling with a bigger group. Living Room
After a fun day in downtown Pigeon Forge, make yourself comfortable in the cozy living room of Goodness and Mercy. You can retreat from the summer sun or stay warm on cool mountain nights as you curl up on the comfy sofa, sit back with a book in the upholstered chair, or grab a drink and unwind in the leather chair with an ottoman. Just flip on the big screen TV, pop a movie in the Blu-ray player, and relax.

A dining table for 2 is also here, so you can sit down for a nice meal after taking advantage of your fully equipped kitchen. Just bring some popcorn, your favorite candy, and some drinks for a fun night hanging out in this cool, comfortable cabin.

Kitchen
One major convenience at Goodness and Mercy is the fully equipped kitchen. It’s nice to have the space, whether you want to make special holiday meals, romantic dinners, easy lunches, big country breakfasts, or just some game-day snacks. It’s equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, built-in microwave, coffeemaker, and toaster. It also has enough dishes, glassware, and utensils for all 4 guests.

If you’re not up for cooking, order some pizza, grab some takeout, get some barbecue to go, or have a nice dinner downtown and then bring the leftovers back to the cabin. Pigeon Forge and neighboring Gatlinburg have it all, from seafood, steaks, and burgers to Italian, Mexican, and German. Finish off with the wide variety of desserts, from funnel cake, ice cream, and old-fashioned candy to hand-pulled taffy, creamy fudge, and candy-covered caramel apples.

Bedroom
When you’re ready to call it a night, climb into the queen-size bed in the studio-style bedroom of Goodness and Mercy. It has simple but stylish bedding, wall-mounted lights for late-night reading, built-in shelves, and nightstands on either side of the bed for convenience. You can keep glasses, phones, or the remote within easy reach here. Or you can climb into bed early, flip on the big screen TV in the living room, and watch a movie as you fall asleep. It will be a comfortable, peaceful place to retreat after a day of shopping, hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and playing at Dollywood!

Outdoor Spaces
Get some fresh air, enjoy cool mountain breezes, and soak in the sounds and smells of the mountains when you get away to Goodness and Mercy. Set in the serene Beside the Still Waters community, the cabin features some great outdoor spaces where you can unwind. Grab your plate and enjoy an outdoor meal at the picnic table, toss burgers and kabobs on the picnic-style grill, sit down with a drink at the 2-person dining table, or bring a book to read in the rocking chairs on the deck. Before you head to bed, climb into the hot tub for a soothing soak.

Other Amenities
Goodness and Mercy makes it easy to be away from home, with conveniences that make stays simpler. With wireless internet, you can keep up with emails or visit our blog to see what events are happening during your stay. And if you’re traveling with more than 2, the queen sleeper sofa in the living room offers some extra space.

The Beside the Still Waters community also has a couple nice amenities, including a community fire pit where you can make s’mores and chat with friends and nearby hiking trails when you want to get out and explore.

Local Fun
There is no shortage of fun in Pigeon Forge, whether you’re traveling as a couple or with kids. There are dozens of family-friendly attractions for all ages, and local wineries and dinner shows are great for couples.
