When you pull up, you’ll be greeted by a rustic wood exterior, 2 sprawling decks, and trees all around. Inside, you’ll find homey furnishings, a mountain motif, and tons of amenities to make your stay comfortable and fun. Comforts like a gas fireplace and rocking chairs on the deck make the space feel cozy, while conveniences like a washer/dryer and wheelchair ramp make stays away from home a bit easier. Plus, you’ll have perks like 2 indoor jetted tubs, Wi-Fi, an outdoor hot tub, and TVs in the bedrooms that will leave you feeling relaxed and pampered on your Pigeon Forge getaway.
You can spend your days relaxing in the cabin and soaking in the views or take a drive to downtown Pigeon Forge for shopping, dining, and fun. You’ll have your pick of restaurants, there are dozens of shops to browse, and attractions offer something for every age – from the kid-friendly WonderWorks to the Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery.
When you rent a cabin in the Smokies, you want to get the most of it. At Kiss the Moon, the cozy interiors will invite you to stick around. You can spend your afternoons and evenings curling up in front of the fireplace in the living room or flipping on the 60-inch big screen TV with a Blu-ray player to watch a ball game or movie. Bring along a deck of cards and play on the coffee table, or crack open the book you’ve been aching to read and relax in the plush chair with matching ottoman.
And while the floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and warm wood walls make this room feel cozy and warm, the many windows spanning from floor to ceiling keep it light and bright. On sunny days, enjoy lots of natural light streaming in. In fall, watch the landscape transform just past your deck, taking the leaves on the trees from bright greens to rich shades of red, gold, and orange. In winter, stay warm inside while snow turns the world outside into a winter wonderland!
One of the best parts of having a cabin rental versus a hotel room is a fully equipped kitchen. At Kiss the Moon, you can cook for the group in the kitchen right inside your cabin! With enough counter space for prepping meals or setting out a buffet of snacks, the kitchen is great for in-cabin meals and game-day snacks. It’s equipped with enough dishes, utensils, and glassware for all 8 guests, along with other cooking essentials.
Kiss the Moon has a refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, and dishwasher, along with a coffeemaker, blender, and toaster for easy meals and snacks in the cabin. And the warm wood cabinets blend perfectly into the walls, keeping the feel of a cozy mountain cabin.
The dining table of Kiss the Moon sits between the kitchen and living room, making it easy for guests to chat while they eat, cook, and hang out or watch TV. The table for 6 can seat most of the group, and others can step out onto the deck or find a comfortable spot in the living room to have a bite to eat. While you can always eat at one of the many restaurants downtown, you can also spend quality time with family and friends enjoying peaceful, intimate meals in the cabin. For the holidays, bring your favorite family recipes or check our blog for easy in-cabin treats!
Family room | Lower level
With a group of 8 on vacation, you need as many places to unwind as possible. Kiss the Moon offers a living room on the main level (by the kitchen), along with a second family room on the lower level. This spacious room features another 60-inch big screen TV with Blu-ray player, along with a coffee table for playing games and keeping snacks, a large area rug where kids can lounge, a comfy chair, and a large sectional sofa.
With a big TV and plenty of seating, it’s a great place to hang out, watch movies, and play games. You’ll get lots of natural light through the windows here, and you’ll have easy access to the deck when you’re ready for some fresh air.
Kiss the Moon offers some great places to rest and relax, including a bright loft with tree-lined views and exposed wood beams. Here you’ll find 2 twin beds and 1 queen-size bed, offering sleeping space for 4. Although it’s open to the rest of the cabin, the loft offers the comforts of a cozy bedroom, including nightstands, bedside lamps, and dressers. If you’re traveling with a few families, it’s a great spot for someone with kids.
Both of the bedrooms in Kiss the Moon offer queen-size beds, giving guests comfortable places to lay their heads after long days exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, playing at the parks in Pigeon Forge, checking out area attractions, or shopping at Tanger Outlets.
The bedrooms also have their own TVs, so there will be no fighting over the remote at night. Sleep in and catch up on the news before climbing out of bed or head to be early so you can fall asleep watching a late-night show or movie. These comfortable, cozy bedrooms will be welcome retreats in your peaceful mountain cabin.
While there are hundreds of miles of trails to hike, bike, and horseback ride in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Kiss the Moon makes it easy to enjoy the outdoors even if you just want to relax. Grab a cup of coffee and head to 1 of 2 decks, where you can sit in the rocking chairs and soak in the fresh air and serene surroundings.
Each deck has 4 rocking chairs, and 1 has a hot tub where you can soak away those stresses. There is also a gas grill, so you can cook kabobs, burgers, steaks, and more on those warm mountain days.
Located in the Shagbark cabin community, Kiss the Moon offers access to a community pool during those hot Tennessee summers. Do some laps, lounge around, or let the kids splash and play when you’re ready to cool off from the heat. The Shagbark community also has tennis courts/a basketball court, so you can get in some exercise or play around!
If you love movie nights, be sure to bring along your favorite flicks to watch with the Blu-ray player in the cabin. And the washer/dryer is a great amenity to have so you can pack less and freshen up clothes as needed. You’ll even have a flat, paved driveway and 5 parking spaces, so arrivals should be easy.
