Has 2019 just NOT been your year? Or maybe 2019 WAS your year, and you’re ready to celebrate? Either way, what better way to say goodbye to this year and hello to 2020 than by celebrating in the Great Smoky Mountains?! You might think that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are solely focused on hiking (in the most-visited national park in the U.S., the Great Smoky Mountains National Park) or on touristy attractions like go karts, Ripley’s, and mini golf…but the Smoky Mountains offers so much more! In fact, nightlife is buzzing in the Smokies, especially when it comes to New Year’s Eve!
Instead of staying home or going to the same place for your New Year celebration, mix it up with a trip to Pigeon Forge, TN in the Smokies! Whether you want to go out or stay in, we have options for YOU! Want to cozy up and watch the ball drop as you sip champagne and toast with family and friends? Check out our awesome Pigeon Forge, TN Cabins that are packed with amenities to make your New Year’s Eve in something really special. Want to get out? Gatlinburg – just down the road from Pigeon Forge – hosts a huge New Year’s Eve celebration at the base of the Gatlinburg Space Needle in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars where you can celebrate, or you can check out events at The Island, Dollywood, the Smoky Mountain Opry, and the Hard Rock Café.
New Year’s Eve in the Cabin
Celebrate the start of 2020 in style with a personal celebration in a cabin in Pigeon Forge. Bring along champagne, sparkling cider, or whatever you want to toast with and enjoy sending 2019 off in your own way! We have plenty to choose from, but some New-Year’s-Eve-perfect amenities you’ll find across our cabins include big screen TVs (for watching the ball drop), Blu-ray players for movie nights when you’re staying up, fully equipped kitchens for storing drinks and New Year’s Eve snacks, hot tubs where you can soak and celebrate, private indoor pools to splash into 2020, rec rooms for endless fun, and cozy king-size beds where you can get your first great night of sleep in the new year.
Celebrating in the cabin means another awesome perk: no need for babysitters! Have a family-friendly celebration with games and snacks in the cabin, and then put the kiddos to bed to enjoy a fun evening with them safely sleeping just upstairs! Staying in is also a safe alternative if you plan to have a few celebratory drinks – just please drink responsibly and stay safe!
