Peanut’s Paradise is a lovely secluded cabin for family vacations, girls’ getaways, couples’ retreats, or weekends with friends, with space to sleep up to 8 guests and plenty of amenities to keep everyone entertained before and after excursions to nearby attractions in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
The quaint mountain décor set against the warm, natural wood of the cabin invites you to feel at home during your Smoky Mountain getaway in Peanut’s Paradise.
Gather in the common rooms with ample seating on large, plush couches and numerous chairs to laugh, chat, and reconnect with the ones you love in the relaxing setting of the wooded views visible through the many windows. Grill out for the spring and summer holidays surrounded by thick forest greenery or slip into the outdoor hot tub during the cooler months to watch as the yellow, red, and orange foliage flutters to the ground around the cabin. In winter, gather in the living area to open presents in front of the fire while light snow falls over the thick forests outside. Year-round, this cozy cabin is just where you want to be with family and friends.
A short drive to Pigeon Forge means exciting days of shopping for the best deals at outlet stores, picking up unique items at local shops, enjoying one-of-a-kind live dinner shows, and letting the kids loose on hundreds of family-friendly activities like go-karts, laser tag, mini-golf, and more! Visit award-winning attractions like Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, ride roller coasters at Dollywood, or take in all the natural beauty of the glorious mountains and valleys in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the most visited national park in America.
Bask in the natural light flowing in from the expansive windows across the back side of the living room or enjoy tree-studded views that shelter you from the outside world. With just the trees in sight, this living room is just the place to cozy up for a retreat away from it all. Rest your head on the couch cushions and let your eyes drift shut as you read that book you’ve been aching to crack open. The recliners by the window give you natural light and a reading lamp, so you can kick up your feet, read, and relax.
On cool mountain nights, cozy up by the fireplace as the kids play on the floor and you watch some TV or chat with friends. Or pop their favorite movie in the DVD player and have a lazy movie night in the cabin. In warmer months, you’ll have a place to keep cool and hang out. Bring some games, open a bottle of wine, and enjoy the serenity of a secluded Pigeon Forge cabin.
Easily prepare a delicious cabin-cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen of Peanut’s Paradise! It’s furnished with lots of kitchen tools, pots and pans, and dishes and utensils for making and enjoying meals without leaving the cabin. Have the kids help make cookies that will be fresh out of the oven in a bit, try your hand at grandma’s time-tested holiday recipes, or just use the space to make some quick pancakes and eggs before heading into town.
If you’re not up for cooking, just use the space to make your morning coffee (with the Keurig in the kitchen) before taking it out to the deck to enjoy. As you sip your morning jolt, listen to the sounds of birds in the trees and breathe in the crisp mountain air. The full kitchen also means you have a place for heating up leftovers, having a pizza night, or even splurging on a catered meal. Whatever you’re planning for the day – hikes in the national park or fun-filled days along the Parkway – the kitchen gives you the tools to have meals before and after you play.
The rustic mountain décor and quaint wood dining table make dinnertime a Smoky Mountain experience for every meal. Lay out the provided dining set and wine glasses for a special time of fellowship over good food with friends at the table large enough to accommodate 6 guests. Play board games under the warm light of the chandelier into the late hours of the night as everyone laughs and competitively gets into the fun. Map out the day’s plans along the Rocky Top Wine Trail with your fellow bachelorettes over breakfast at the table. Vacationing with a big group? There’s room for everyone with four extra stools at the nearby counter!
Sleep well in the queen-size beds of the private bedrooms in Peanut’s Paradise. Pull the smooth covers over yourself as you relax to watch your favorite show before falling asleep, or keep reading that book you can’t put down under the soft light of the rustic bear lamp before dozing off. Both bedrooms have windows with tree-studded views, so you can enjoy a peaceful setting as you fall asleep. One even boasts a jetted tub with stone details, giving you a great spot to unwind at the end of the night.
Do not fear boredom while staying in Peanut’s Paradise, because the loft game room is sure to keep restless guest entertained! Play competitive games of pool while your favorite sporting event plays on the nearby flatscreen TV. The kids can grab the checkers board and sit at the bar-style seating area while they wait their turn for the authentic arcade game. Rather spectate and enjoy the game? Grab your cold drink from the kitchen and laugh while other guests talk smack about the other team or the general lack of billiard skills in the room.
While the kids are watching their movie in the living room, the adults can enjoy some child-free relaxation in the hot tub on the back deck! In the morning, bring breakfast out to the patio and enjoy the serenity of the Great Smoky Mountains all around you. While the grill master flips burgers on the charcoal grill, enjoy some fresh air and a game of cards at the patio table.
Enjoy delicious meals or savory snacks at the variety of eateries, ride the ferris wheel overlooking the city, or enjoy a unique light show by the fountain at the center of the park. The kids will love the ropes course, train, and live music that brings The Island alive!
Be sure to visit this observation tower that sits 6,643 feet tall, making it the highest point of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You don’t have to be an expert hiker or mountain climber; the short .5-mile trek along a paved path makes getting to the peak a feat the whole family can conquer.
Roller coasters, carnival games and prizes, a choo-choo train, Southern restaurants, cookies the size of your face, kids’ rides, live shows…Dollywood has something for all ages!
