Paradise Mountain Retreat is truly Paradise in the mountains. This luxury property has an expansive 6,292 square feet of space that allows everyone their private, quiet time in separate bedrooms, as well as many rooms that can be enjoyed with your group altogether. Whether your sabbatical is for work or play, you will have room for 48 guests in this stunning getaway with 12 beautiful bedrooms, 13½ perfectly placed bathrooms, an indoor pool, and an amazing recreation/theater room all spread out over 3 levels with outdoor spaces to enjoy as well.
The Hibernation Station community of Pigeon Forge is located only 5 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge giving you the perfect location to soak up all the spectacular views of the mountains mixed with the convenience of the short drive for amazing restaurants and memorable activities.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. In this fully equipped kitchen, you will have an amazing start with high-end double appliances, a grand island, beautiful cabinetry, and gorgeous views of the Smokies. Savor breakfast, lunch, and dinner with all or some of your group enjoying seating at the island and two oversized tables just steps away from the kitchen.
Relaxation is next on the list and you have many choices with this cabin, inside and out. Host a movie night in the theater room, play pool in the recreation area, play your favorite card or board games in the lounge area, take a late-night dip in the private indoor pool, gather around the firepit and make s’mores, or simply enjoy the flickering fire inside and settle in with a good book in the living area. So many inviting places and spaces appeal to everyone’s preferences.
After a day enjoying all the cabin has to offer or coming in from a visit to Alcatraz East Crime Museum, every guest will have a sanctuary to retreat to and rejuvenate for the day ahead. Every room offers a marvelous view of the mountains and forests. Along with the views, you can also enjoy snacks, drinks, and game time in the indoor/outdoor lounge area or choose to just congregate in the chairs around the firepit on the deck at night and watch the stars as everyone reconnects.
In case all of this isn’t enough, Paradise Mountain Retreat also has TVs in the bedrooms, a DVD player, high-speed Wi-Fi, a charcoal grill, a washer/dryer, an indoor hot tub, 8 parking spaces, and a handicap-friendly bedroom on the entry level (plus a ramp to the front door).
Paradise Mountain Retreat is a retreat from the moment you step through the door. Plush sofas invite guests into comfort while watching the game on the big screen TV or reading the latest bestseller by the flickering fire and the perfect amount of light from the table side lamps. The impressive stacked stone fireplace houses an electric fireplace with the TV mounted above the mantel. This open area allows interaction between all the spaces on this main level but each space has its own touch of intimacy.
Have your early morning wake-up call sipping a hot cup of tea or coffee while planning the adventures of the day at Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud or Titanic Museum Attraction by the warmth of the fire. Pour another in the evening to have with dessert as you unpack all the day held. Use the overhead ceiling fan to provide a breeze or turn on the fire to knock the chill off while looking over all of the gorgeous views from the surrounding windows.
This large group kitchen has double the appliances to make sure there is room to hold and cook anything you might need. There are 2 spacious side by side refrigerators to keep fresh groceries for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks or any leftovers from dinner out at Blue Moose Burgers and Wings. You will also have 2 ovens with ranges, 2 deep sinks, 2 coffeemakers, 2 toasters, and 2 dishwashers for easy and fast clean up from any meal or snack. And just in case 2 is not enough, there are 3 microwave ovens built into the large island which can also be used as extra seating for 6 when needed for meals or a place to sit and chat with morning coffee.
The marbled stone counters only add to the luxury in this kitchen. With dark shaker-style cabinets and a varied light and dark wood floor, there is a perfect balance of elegance. A beautiful wood light fixture hangs overhead, and the picture windows allow the beauty of the mountains to keep everyone company whether they are cooking or eating.
The open concept of this space continues just steps away from the kitchen. No one will be left standing. There is room for everyone to have a place to gather and enjoy any well-executed meal. Choose a chair or bench at one of the 2 oversized wooden tables in the dining area, spill over onto island seating, or even eat outdoors while taking in more of the amazing views. Overhead, miniature lanterns hang and add more cabin charm to the space while you dine. This area is also appropriate to host group meetings, play favorite board games, or have a tournament card game to boost morale in the office while sipping wine from the Rocky Top Wine Trail.
After a full day adventure visiting Dollywood, you can find respite in one of 12 bedrooms. Choose from 10 king-size bedrooms – each with a TV and en-suite bathroom and an additional 6 futons conveniently scattered among them. If you have a group with children like a family retreat or a need for a variety of bedding to fit different groups, the remaining 2 bedrooms offer 2 sets of queen bunks in each room. All of the rooms feature matching mountain decor, unbelievable mountain views, and ceiling fans to help keep things cool at night or for a well-placed afternoon nap.
In case there is a need, the main bedroom on the entry level has handicap features including a handicap-friendly bathroom and shower. Paradise continues in all 13 ½ bathrooms, with beautiful tile work and stone countertops helping to keep you feeling spoiled.
Private Indoor Pool
The exquisite stone that envelopes the area around the pool entices you in, and the magical stacked stone waterfall mesmerizes you to stay. Working out any stresses of life is easy as you relax beside the waterfall or do laps to melt it all away stroke after stroke. Wonderfully expansive windows let all of nature in to add another layer to your relaxing opportunity. The windows also peek outside to the hot tub and inside to the theater to keep everyone connected.
Variety is the name of the game with all of the recreational spaces this luxury cabin has to offer. Although you may want to plan an outing to the Outdoor Gravity Park, there are spaces to keep your activity switch flipped while you are here. Shoot a game of pool at the table in the area right next to the designated theater room. Place your bets while playing poker in a second area with an accompanying couch for those who just want to chat while sipping a glass of wine with a friend. In a third rec area there are 2 high-top pub tables, a flatscreen TV, and a garage-style door that allows you to open one side up to the main deck and firepit area while taking in all the mountain sights, sounds, and smells.
Pop enough buttery movie popcorn for everyone to enjoy as you sit down to watch a favorite DVD in true-to-life theater style seating with the flip-up seats, cupholders, and stadium staggering. Then, press play, sit back, and get your fill of popcorn and other snacks as you observe your flick from a projector. The windows to your right look into the pool and the area to your right houses the pool table. This way you can enjoy a halftime intermission show without ever having to leave your seat.
But wait, there’s more! Magnificent mountain views with trees that change as the seasons change surround Paradise Mountain Retreat on every side. On the sizable deck, choose to rock alone to have a little solitude as you take in the beauty, or with friends as you catch up on life. Bring out the marshmallows to roast around the stone firepit and even open up the indoor/outdoor lounge area to expand your hangout space. Keep enjoying the scenery as you relax in the hot tub outside as well.
Out front, firing up the charcoal grill for hamburgers and hotdogs is a great plan for dinner after a day at the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster. The driveway has enough parking for 8 vehicles and is flat to help with packing and unpacking the cars. There is also a ramp from the driveway to the porch to make the cabin more accessible.
So much to see, so much to do…only 5 miles from the center of Pigeon Forge. Get ready to have some fun playing miniature golf, driving go karts, watching dinner shows, and exploring the Smokies!
