Commercial flights to Pigeon Forge will end at the McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, Tennesse, which is about 25 miles away from Pigeon Forge. From there, you can rent a car and drive the rest of the way. However, if you have access to a private plane, you might try the county-owned, public-use airport located in Sevier County instead.

An easy way to get around Pigeon Forge where you can skip the traffic, save some gas money, and stay off your feet is with the Pigeon Forge Trolley (also known as the Fun Time Trolley). Open to visitors and locals alike, the trolley runs daily from 8 a.m. to midnight (March through October) and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (November through December). Fares are very reasonable (an all-day pass is only $2.50), and you can access all the major sites in Pigeon Forge, including North Parkway, South Parkway, Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country as well as sites in Gatlinburg and Wears Valley.
