This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin is a cozy, rustic escape at Eagle Springs in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Sleeping up to 10 people, Pioneer Place is perfect for a small family and offers comfort, privacy and relaxation.
Located just 11 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge, this wonderful cabin rental is conveniently situated near Dollywood, the Tanger Outlets, Dolly Parton’s Stampede, and all the great food and entertainment that Pigeon Forge has to offer. Whether you want to speed along the go-kart track, challenge your kids to a game of laser tag, or spend the afternoon browsing brand name stores, you will find it all in this exciting town. At night, there are plenty of dinner shows – be it lumberjacks, comedy, or a variety – and there is no shortage of delicious local and chain restaurants from which to choose.
Both bedrooms in the cabin provide comfortable mattresses and bedding, so whether you are in the king bedroom or the queen bedroom, you will enjoy a good night’s sleep. There is also a twin bunk, a queen sleeper sofa, and another sleeper sofa in the home for extra sleeping space. Each bedroom has its own TV, and a big screen TV (with DVD player) in the family room is perfect for morning cartoons or late night movies. A gas fireplace and plush couches make the family room even cozier.
When you’re ready to gather for meals, the fully equipped kitchen will have everything you need. The dining table seats 6, so there is plenty of room for the entire family. The kitchen island also has a double sink and extra counter space for easy prep. Cooking in the cabin is a great way to save money, and great food always brings people together. You can stop by the grocery store and pick up what you’ll need, or you can visit some local spots (try the Applebarn Cider Mill) for yummy treats such as muffins, pastries, jams, jellies and mixes.
In addition to offering convenience and comfort, Pioneer Place also has fun, relaxation and privacy. Beautiful wooded mountain and valley views can be taken in from the wrap around porch while you relax in the rocking chairs (2 chairs and 2 benches) on a quiet Smoky Mountain afternoon. If you want to cook out, there is a charcoal grill, so dad can make his famous burgers, steaks and bratwurst. And at the end of the day, what better way to wind down than to enjoy a long soak in the outdoor hot tub? No matter the time of year, you will certainly have a truly beautiful setting. In spring and summer, there are lush green trees and vivid wildflowers; fall brings changing leaves and winter is a magical display of ice and snow. For some entertainment, check out the pool table in the loft, or head to the pool (seasonal access) for a day of fun in the sun.

Cabin was spectacular with a small but cozy fireplace. My only complaint is the very dim lighting in the kitchen and dining area. It was hard to cook without sufficient light. Also we had some packages get delivered while we were there and we were not able to get them. They were left in the mailbox which no one knew anything about. We checked out yesterday and still have not been able to reach the owner.
