My Happy Place is nestled into Wears Valley just a little way off from Wears Valley Road which takes you into the heart of Pigeon Forge for hundreds of attractions and fun-filled days.
This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin also provides community pool access and a fishing pond only a short walk from the front door! Reconnect with family and friends over meals in the cabin, games around the large coffee table, movies on the large flatscreen, and relaxing conversations in the outdoor hot tub. My Happy Place is perfect for vacationing with older family members; grandparents will have an easier time with the flat, paved roads and parking. They are sure to love sitting by the pond as the grandchildren fish or lounging on the bench on the back porch with a cup of coffee in hand.
In the summer, take a dip in the community pool and soak up some Tennessee sun! In fall, make hot chocolate in the kitchen and walk into the crisp autumn air on the back deck to enjoy nature’s art laid over the mountains as warm orange, red, and yellow spread through the trees. Watch from in front of the fire through the windows as snow falls over the foothills in the winter, and return in spring as blooms peak through and experience the annual Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage! Escape to the breathtaking, beautiful Smoky Mountains any time of year to My Happy Place for a rejuvenating time making memories with the ones you love.
Come together as a family around a rousing board game as everyone laughs from their seats on the large sectional couch around the spacious coffee table! On cool mountain nights, get a fire going in the wood-burning fireplace while someone else picks out a movie to play on the 50” flatscreen TV above the wooden mantel.
Sprawl out over the couch cushions for a relaxing nap under the soft afternoon light drifting in through the window. Grab your favorite magazine or book, or plug in your headphones for your favorite podcast to enjoy while lounging on the couch for some quiet time. With lots of seating on the sectional sofa, a large coffee table for games, and big screen TV, this comfortable living room will be a hub for families and friends.
My Happy Place’s kitchen will lure you into cooking in the cabin with its sleek black appliances set in warm wooden cabinetry. Prepare a delicious picnic lunch in the kitchen to take to Cades Cove later that day. With dishes, glassware, utensils, and cooking tools, the kitchen’s equipped for quick snacks, easy lunches, big country breakfasts, and delicious family dinners. Or just for bringing back leftovers from area restaurants!
In the mornings, brew a fresh cup of coffee and make your way to the back deck for some fresh mountain air. For a pre-hike boost, whip up a smoothie in the blender or bake up some healthy muffins in the oven. During the holidays, everyone will gather to bake cookies, make family recipes, and enjoy snacking on favorite holiday foods.
Grab your plate and pull up a chair to the convenient bar-style dining area only steps from the kitchen counter. Pour a glass of wine you brought home from a local winery in Pigeon Forge and join the others at the table for a game of cards. After a few hours of games, warm up your leftovers for a midnight snack with the TV playing in the background. On game days, set out a spread of appetizers or a self-serve buffet for everyone to grab as they hang out and relax.
Everyone can get a full night’s rest and peaceful rejuvenation in one of My Happy Place’s 3 lovely bedrooms. After a day of hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains, squeeze in a nap in one of the cozy queen-size beds or read your book in the tranquility of your private room. With the blinds open and the late-afternoon sun shining through the bedroom window, it will be a peaceful retreat for the senses. Each bedroom also features a dresser for unpacking and a mirror that makes getting ready for a meal at the Old Mill Restaurant easy. At night, enjoy your favorite TV show before falling asleep under the cozy covers as your head sinks into the plush pillows.
Challenge your friends in a game of 8-ball on the pool table in the lower level’s game room! While you play, you’ll have easy access to your drinks via the mini kitchen located here. You can also bake some cookies or toss in a pizza, with an oven just steps from the pool table. The game room also has a flatscreen TV, so it’s a well-rounded space for spending a few hours with friends, winding down after a busy day in town, or just letting the kids play around.
Breathe in the clean mountain air of the valleys as you sit on the log bench under the cover of the back deck in the dreamy afternoon sun. Memorize the beautiful, relaxing views of the rolling pastures of Wears Valley from your soothing seat in the outdoor hot tub.
