Single and Loving It in the Smokies

Everywhere you go, it’s couples, right? Well, what about the singles crowd? What about those who’re looking to have some fun in the Smokies with a group of friends or even on their own? We want you to know that you haven’t been forgotten! Families and couples aren’t the only ones who’ll find exciting things to do in the Smokies.

So if you’re traveling alone, with a small group, or on a large singles retreat, here are some fun attractions we hope you’ll add to your to-do list during your Pigeon Forge stay!

Group Attractions
For those traveling with a group, large or small, of singles, try some of these exciting group attractions in Pigeon Forge. Also, be sure to check out our large group cabins for your Smoky Mountain stay. We have cabins for any size group—whether you’re bringing 4 friends or 44!

Dollywood—Dollywood is one of the highlights of any Pigeon Forge vacation. With a variety of shows, rides, and exhibits, Dollywood can please even the most diverse group of friends. You can split up to ride different heart-pounding roller coasters and come together to watch a live show like “Gem Tones,” featuring musical favorites from the 50s and 60s.

Rafting in the Smokies—Another exciting (and adrenaline-pumping!) way to entertain your group in the Smokies is to plan a day trip with Rafting in the Smokies. Providing professionally guided rides down the Big Pigeon River since 1978, this Pigeon Forge attraction aims to give every guest a safe and affordable way to experience the whitewater of the Smokies during their stay. You can plan for one of two rafting trips, depending on your comfort level and experience. You can also choose packaged deals with rafting and ziplining or rafting and horseback riding.

Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud—One of our Pigeon Forge Cabins partners, this dinner show attraction is the perfect place to bring your large group for an evening that combines good country cookin’ with old-fashioned fun! The rivalry between the Hatfields and McCoys has been one of the longest-running feuds in history, and you can learn all about it—plus witness their singing, dancing, amazing stunts, and hilarious comedy—during your group’s stay in the Smoky Mountains.

Singles’ Activities
Let’s say you’re visiting the Smokies for a conference, a wedding, or some much-needed “me” time. If that’s the case and you’ll be on your own, we invite you to check out our cozy and incredibly comfortable single-bedroom cabins in Pigeon Forge. You can have access to your own space, including your own full-size kitchen and hot tub, with our Smoky Mountain cabins! Not to mention you’ll be close to exciting activities for singles, like these:

Titanic Museum Attraction—You don’t need to be with a group to appreciate this Pigeon Forge Cabins partner. The Titanic Museum Attraction, known as the world’s largest museum attraction, features tons of exciting exhibits and fascinating information about the original passengers and crew of the RMS Titanic.

The Coaster at Goats on the Roof—Zipping through the woods at almost 30 miles per hour, this exciting coaster is something you can do on your own without paying a steep price or waiting in long lines. Then, after experiencing the beauty of the Smoky Mountain woods up close, head to the indoor portion of Goats on the Roof, where you’ll find delicious homemade fudge and ice cream that you can eat on the spot or take back to savor in the privacy of your Pigeon Forge cabin!

Smoky Mountain Guides—If you’re by yourself, please don’t take the risk of hiking through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on your own. Instead, book a guided hike with Smoky Mountain Guides. This Pigeon Forge Cabins partner provides a discount for single hikers who want to join up with a small group and explore the Smoky Mountains in a brand-new way. You’ll not only see the beauty of these mountains, but also have the chance to learn about their history, culture, and unique features from local guides who can tell you far more than any book or brochure. And as a bonus—you might even meet a new friend in the process!

So no matter what brings you to the Smokies—and no matter if you’re with a large group or trekking it on your own—you’ll find plenty to keep you entertained while you’re away, especially with our Pigeon Forge Cabin partners. Ask our reservation specialists for more information about special discounts available to you simply because you booked with us!
