The Smokies is loved by many different groups of people. Nature-lovers, shoppers, kids of all ages—even car enthusiasts! Every year, several different Smoky Mountain cities—including Sevierville, Townsend, and Pigeon Forge—host a variety of fun, unique, and fascinating car events that you won’t want to miss! Check out these shows, which will spin into the Smokies over the next few months, and make your plans to see these one-of-a-kind antiques, hot rods, and specialty vehicles for yourself!

    1. Pigeon Forge Rod Run – April 17–18, 2015

    For Pigeon Forge’s largest automotive event, come to the Pigeon Forge Rod Run in April. With $8,000 in cash giveaways and live music, this show is fun for the whole family! The event will be returning to its original location this year, the newly renovated LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge. Come see hundreds of hot rods on display, and check out unique vendors at the Rod Run’s swap meet. Car enthusiasts of all ages will enjoy this exciting event!

    2. Yellow Mustang Car Show – May 1–3, 2015

    Yes, this show does exist! You’ll see more yellow Mustangs at this event than you might have ever thought existed! The Yellow Mustang Car Show is a celebration of Ford’s “Pony” car and is located at Christmas Place Inn on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. This event is hosted by the Yellow Mustang Registry, which has 9,499 registered vehicles worldwide. Make your plans to “go yellow” this May by attending this one-of-a-kind event!

    3. Circle Yer Wagens – May 2–3, 2015

    For the past three decades, Circle Yer Wagens has been hosting an all Volkswagen show and swap meet at the Sevier County Fairgrounds in Sevierville, Tennessee. Come join this exciting event in 2015, and celebrate Circle Yer Wagens’ 31st year! This show is hosted by the Appalachian Volkswagen Association, and they make sure each year’s show is family-friendly and full of fun! Come check out the best-loved VW’s of the South at Circle Yer Wagens this year!

    4. Blount British Car Club – May 8–10, 2015

    In 1984, the Blount British Car Club began with a group of British motorcar enthusiasts who met to repair, restore, and drive their cars. Four years later, the club became a nonprofit, and for the past 28 years, members and visitors alike have come together to celebrate British cars at the BBC’s gathering each May. This year, make your plans to join the event in Townsend, Tennessee, on the grounds of the Talley Ho Inn. In the past, guests have seen everything from a 1932 Morris sedan to De Loreans and an Amphicar. Don’t miss your chance to see what new and exciting rides pull up in 2015!

    5. Smoky Mountain Antique Toy and Pedal Car Show – May 13–16, 2015

    One of the most “toy-tastic” car exhibits you’ll find in Pigeon Forge is the Smoky Mountain Antique Toy and Pedal Car Show. Featuring antique toys, vintage pedal cars, wagons, ride-on toys, and more, this event has something for everyone to enjoy! The event will take place at Country Cascades in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. And be sure to stick around for the exciting Pedal Car and Toy Auction, which will be held on Saturday, May 16. There is no charge to buy or sell in this auction, so be sure to pack your antique treasures before you head to Pigeon Forge.
