Splash ‘N Mountain Lookout

This vacation home boasts an indoor pool that is heated and ready for year-round splashing. Put a movie night on the schedule, because your cabin also has a theater room with a big screen TV and DVD player.  The electric (no heat) fireplace provides ambiance while catching up with friends and family. Indoor recreation is a must when there is a pool table, a foosball table, and arcade games tempting everyone to get the best high score. When you’re ready to relax, soak in the hot tub outdoors while taking in the views.

Every day of your mountain getaway can begin with a steaming cup of coffee or tea out on the deck in the rocking chairs listening to the sounds of nature. The fully equipped kitchen gives you lots of options. From full four-course meals to sandwiches to snacks, you will only have to supply the groceries. A charcoal grill is ready for burgers and hotdogs, and a paved driveway has parking available for 5 vehicles. You will have a washer and dryer for your convenience as well, along with TVs in the rec room, living room, and all 5 bedrooms. The bedrooms are also equipped with king-size beds to fall into at the end of your adventure-filled days. 

Living Room
Walking into the living room of your vacation rental, you drop your bags at the door and are invited to begin your vacation relaxing in one of two recliner sofas. If you opt to stay at Splash ‘N Mountain Lookout while everyone goes to ride flying water products at AquaFlight, you can enjoy a little undisturbed quiet time catching up on a good book. While dinner is being prepared in the kitchen, everyone can gather around the flatscreen TV and root for their favorite team. Pre-dinner snacks and hors d’oeuvres can be served from the coffee table for everyone to reach.  

Four large windows open up the space to the outdoors and let the light flood the room. The beautiful wood floors, walls, and ceilings have a mountain cabin feel, and the flickering of the fireplace (electric, no heat) adds to the ambiance. Kick off a pool tournament with all the guests on the table located opposite the fireplace. Turn on the ceiling fan when the competition heats up. 

Kitchen
This entire space consisting of the kitchen, dining area, and living room is an open concept, allowing any family bonding and group fun the ideal place to occur. Your fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances waiting to help you prepare any meal or snack. Fill your full-size refrigerator with fresh produce and groceries from the nearby grocery or store the leftovers from a night out at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen. Heat your leftovers from Harpoon Harry’s Crab House in the microwave, or use the oven and stove to fix a family favorite. Fry an egg, pop in a piece of toast, and brew a cup of coffee as a quick breakfast before the day’s venture with Smoky Mountain Jeep Tours. The dishwasher is a big help after everyone has had their fill. 

Dining Area
A custom long, wooden table spans the length of the kitchen to create a dining space. Two benches on either side of the table provide seating for meals or for friends to gather around while the meal is being prepared. A game of spades, hearts, or even board games can be played around the table while keeping you close to all the snacks and drinks. The light fixture above the table shines great light so the scorekeeper doesn’t accidentally play favorites. 

Bedrooms
After undertaking a Zorb at the Outdoor Gravity Park, soak in your jetted tub and climb into a cozy, warm, king size bed to end your day. Each of the 5 bedrooms has a king bed so there is no reason to fight over who sleeps in which room. To match the 5 rooms there are also 5 bathrooms to ensure plenty of room to get ready for a night of murder mysteries. Bedside tables and lamps are perfect for the last few minutes of reading while your bedmate drifts off to dreamland. Whether you want to retreat to your room for a midday nap or watch a little TV, each room provides a place for both. 

Private Indoor Pool
Providing relaxation, exercise, or a place for the kids to release some energy on your Smoky Mountain vacation, your indoor pool is a great addition to your Splash ‘N Mountain Lookout. The heated indoor pool is ready for activity and fun all year round. Friends can sit and chat while staying dry and taking in all the magnificent views from the surrounding windows. 

Rec Room/Theater Room
Put together a game night with rounds of cards, board games, foosball, and a classic arcade game to round out the competition. A high-top table and stools provide seating, and a flatscreen TV mounted on the wall allows everyone to keep up with the score of the big game while gamers here are aiming for winning scores as well. 

Choose a movie to play in the DVD player, pop some buttery popcorn, settle into one of the recliner seats on the sofas, and enjoy your movie on the big screen TV. This theater room has carpet so all guests can pile in on pillows on the floor while cuddling up with blankets. 

Outdoor Spaces 
After a fun day Rafting in the Smokies, you can soak all of your sore muscles and relax in the outdoor hot tub. Watch the sunset for amazing views, grill up some burgers on the charcoal grill, and have a draft from Old Forge Distillery as you rock in a rocking chair on your deck admiring the gorgeous landscape that surrounds the cabin.

At the cabin, you have access to a washer and dryer so you can wash laundry while at your Smoky Mountain cabin to get it all fresh and clean before packing to return home.
