In the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains lies an incredible, state-of-the-art athletic facility with 80 acres of indoor and outdoor courts and fields for soccer, football, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, martial arts, and more!

Families with athletes can also take advantage of the summer day camps offered at Rocky Top Sports World, giving mom and dad some quality moments of peace at the cabin or time to visit the local distilleries and wineries. Cabins with large flatscreen TVs and projector screens also provide an awesome setting to watch your favorite teams compete while hosting a cookout during a bachelor party weekend, family reunion, or multi-family vacation. Sports and the South go hand-in-hand, even when it comes to the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains!

Rocky Top Sports World

The Facility
Rocky Top Sports World is one of the newest-built facilities of its kind in the country and was voted among the Top 10 Multi-Use Sports Facilities by SportsEvents Magazine in 2017! You can expect pristine playing arenas and fields along with well-kept locker rooms, restrooms, and easy-to-navigate parking. Seven beautiful outdoor fields, 6 synthetic turf and 1 natural surface, provide stunning stages for football, soccer, and lacrosse. The indoor facility, referred to as “The Rock,” boasts 6 basketball courts, 12 volleyball courts, team rooms, and referee locker rooms.

The Location
In addition to a beautiful athletic facility with team rooms, ample parking, and the backdrop of the Great Smoky Mountains, a tournament in Gatlinburg places you, the team, and their families really close to hundreds of attractions, delicious restaurants, and the entrance to the most-visited national park in the United States. Only 4 miles from Gatlinburg’s downtown Parkway, trips in between games are easily navigated when you want to grab a bite to eat or kill some time!

Pigeon Forge Midnight 8K Road Race

This course is flat with the backdrop of the shadowing Great Smoky Mountains against the starry skies at midnight! Register before July 15, 2019, to guarantee yourself a commemorative shirt and provide plenty of time to book your peaceful Pigeon Forge, Tennessee Cabin to return to after the race. Presented by the local Knoxville Track Club, the largest running club in the country and active non-profit in the communities of East Tennessee, there are cash prizes for the race winners! While staying in a Pigeon Forge, Tennessee Cabin you are close to numerous things to do like golfing, biking, hiking, fishing, and more! Tee up in the nationally awarded, beautiful Gatlinburg Golf Course for a relaxing morning on the greens. Tour the stunning beauty and historical cabins of Cades Cove on bike without sharing the road with any vehicles before 10 AM on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Hike the varied terrains to Alum Cave or make the steep trek up to Clingmans Dome to witness the unparalleled views of the highest point in the Smokies!
