May has been a beautiful month in Pigeon Forge. The city has come alive with the colors of spring! The grass is green, flowers are blooming, and the whole city seems to have a new surge of energy. Part of this may be due to the fact that spring time means busy season is coming up quick. Spring time is when people start to come to Pigeon Forge to enjoy the outdoors. Spring break is a great excuse for young and old alike to vacation in Pigeon Forge.

Spring time is like our preparation for the summer which is the busiest season of all for Pigeon forge. During the spring, business owners often pull out their “spring cleaning tools” and get to work beautifying the city. Fresh paint is layered on, flowers are planted, and yards are manicured. Christmas decorations are long gone and everyone is out enjoying the sun.

This past winter was particularly snowy for Pigeon Forge. There were quite a few cancelled school days. Cabin visitors were able to enjoy cozy firelit nights and chilly starry skies but they didn’t spend a lot of time outdoors. Most of our winter nights were spent inside. That’s why we’re all so excited about this spring. We’ve missed the sun! We’ve missed being outdoors in the Smoky Mountains!

If you live in a state that had a colder-than-normal winter, then you’re probably feeling just like us. You’re ready to get out and enjoy the spring weather. Come to Pigeon Forge and have a nice visit with us! Give us a call to book your cabin today.
