The Tennessee Tea Party Coalition has announced that they will be holding the inaugural state-wide Tea Party Convention in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. The Tea Party Convention in Tennessee will be held at the Gatlinburg Convention Center on May 22-23. The Convention is expected to bring up to 2,000 guests to the Pigeon Forge  area.

The Tea Party Convention being held near Pigeon Forge will cost $30 in advance or $35 at the door. All persons 21 years old and younger will be admitted free of charge. The schedule has educational speakers, seminars, and discussion panels. Also on the schedule is a Gubernatorial debate, and a tax reform debate.  Attendees will also get a chance to meet local, state, and federal candidates.

Both live and recorded entertainment will be available throughout the day in multiple meeting rooms. Door prizes may be given out (depending on the number of attendees for the convention.) The convention organizers plan to give away free laptops, firearms, gold and silver coins, and more.

May seems like the perfect time for the Tea Party Convention being held near Pigeon Forge. The Spring has brought beautiful flowers and the Smoky Mountains are plush with green. Everything about the Spring time in Pigeon Forge makes it a perfect visit in May.

Tea Party Convention attendees can stay in a cabin in Pigeon Forge which will give them a great opportunity to relax at night after a long day of political rallying. Attendees of the Tennessee Tea Party Convention can wake up in the morning to a gorgeous view of the Smoky Mountains and then sip on some coffee while taking in the sights. Once the day is done, Pigeon Forge visitors can come back to their cabins and take a nice dip in the hot tub. What a perfect end to a perfect day!
